I keep getting "You have entered an invalid mobile phone number" when trying this on my iPhone ... :(

I sent the assigned text back to them from two different phone numbers, but nothing happens afterwards. If this truly works, I hope someone could buy it for me (and I'll repay it immediately); less than $0.5 is (almost literally) a steal!

Yeah I sent an email and quickly got a reply from the dude. He said that as far as he knows I didn't get charged (it has to get to the next step for it to charge) and there's a problem with my carrier (Verizon). They are working to fix it. I guess I'm s.o.l. until they fix it. If someone bought it for me I'd repay kindly with an e-hug or disgusting n00dz, your choice. lol. My email address is: gorgorothx@hotmail.com

Personally I quite enjoyed it for what it was. It's not my usual kind of humour, but it still made me laugh enough times throughout.

On the other hand, Alias hates it with a passion. Strong Bad's humour doesn't bother with subtlety and certainly not political correctness, so I guess it's easy to find yourself on the wrong side of it.

Edit: oh and there are demos available from the Telltale site too.

Update: Well everything went smooth (text went through in about 5sec!) until after I entered the received PIN code into the website, and it says my order isn't found. It appears that this is a common error so I used the email form to tell them my phone # and transaction code.

Hopefully it gets fixed cuz $0.50 for this is awesome.

Selecting the right country helped me get past my previous problem! D'oh!

I got problems too but they responded promptly and it works for me nicely. Since I purchased it twice, Catshade and GorgorothX are now the new owners ;)
