taczillabr: Assassin's Creed: "Offer available in North, Central, and South America only."
http://store.steampowered.com/news/2966/
$5 is tempting, but it is really worth for just repetitive single-player?
Any opinions?

I actually bought the game twice, once second hand on the PS3 (Japanese version) and again when it was first released on the PC (with the aid of a US based friend). Both times I more than got my money's worth. For $5, it is certainly worth buying just for the fun of starting random fights and for the joy of disposing of annoying beggars.
That's why it sucks so much that Valve have once again, pissed off the majority of the world.

It's THQ week on Gamersgate... one week after the Steam one. 50% off all games by THQ, and none of that waiting for new deals every day crap. Go get! Titan Quest for $5 seems like a steal, if you haven't already gotten Torchlight.

Re. RFG: If you're thinking of getting the Impulse version over fears of the GamersGate version's possible DRM, be aware that it uses Impulse GOO and will register to the Impulse client. But in terms of USD pricing, both Impulse and Gamersgate are the same price.
but thats not true for €, its 20€ vs 25€

Did I say it was true for Euro pricing?
ARMA2 is also 50% off on Steam.

bansama: ARMA2 is also 50% off on Steam.

Dang bansama, you beat me by 2 minutes earlier on the ArmA2 deal, $24.99.
Thanks for the comments about Assassin's Creed, and captfitz too. Purchased. ;)

ARMA 2 is also going to be 50% off on Gamersgate starting tomorrow.
Damn...I may take the plunge at that price.
Also starting tomorrow on GG, Europa Universalis III Complete Edition will be $9.99. If you like strategy gaming, buy it.
Great deals this week!
Keep in mind that you can use the coupon code survey-2009 on Impulse to get any of those games for 20% off.
That means $16 for Red Faction! I am sold!
Killing Floor is 25% off now, making it $11.24 or something. On that digital distribution client some of us hate and like to write about every time someone mentions the word Steam.
