I can't understand GamersGate sometimes. They are saying HAWX 2 %29 off and cutted price is $49.99, damn game is already $49.99 on PC price is not cutted. Also they are saying Football Manager 2011 %55 off and it is priced $39.95, it is already $39.99 so again no price is cutted. Whatever and also Lugaru HD they are saying %50 off and price is $9.99. Just LOL, they are lying.

Yeah Gamersgate has a habit of doing this. Could be an honest mistake though.

What they are doing is making bundles, you'll see that both your examples also come with a free game or games. The percentage off is derived from the cost of all of those games.

Taking the 29% off Hawx 2 deal as an example:

Hawx 2 is $49.95
Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII is $19.95

Total list price for those two is $69.90
The percentage off (rounded up) for the $19.95 discount (for the free game) is 29% off.

So they aren't actually lying. It's just how their system is set up to handle free games included in pre-orders.

As for Lugaru, I'd hazard a guess that it used to sell for $19.95 on GamersGate and has had a permanent price drop to $9.95. If that's the case, GamersGate will eventually remove it from the sales with the new low price.

But if you're think they are being misleading, tell them either via Twitter or their support email address. They're pretty good at correcting stuff once it's pointed out to them.

It is ok for me. But it can cause some misunderstandings for some people. :)

To be honest, that game wasn't even worth the download :P I got rid of it shortly after I had finished installing. But to each his/her own.
