hey guys i'm thinking about buying left4dead while it's on sale, but i don't know if i should buy the bundle or only left4dead2. Is there any reason to buy the first game aswell? has it any different game modes or anything like that?

Buy Killing Floor instead.

Buy them both, it's $10 and they're both a lot of fun.
L4D1 is more horror and 'realistic', while L4D2 is almost more like a zombie dark comedy.

I would say get them both as well if you are wanting them.

I personally prefer the first L4D, as it had the better atmosphere. It seemed to have a little more of that survivor feel, as you really had to stick together and conserve ammo. When I played L4D2, it seemed a bit more arcade like, and weapons are strewn all over the place.

Both are alright though. My opinion is possibly a little outdated as well, as I haven't played L4D2 since it was released, so things might have changed.
