Same as here. I've had Steam for some time now, but never used the whole community thing. Just finished throwing together a profile and changed my status to online. For the first time ever. Woo!

And thanks for the offer, but before upgrading (which I have scheduled for the next month, or thereabouts) any attempt to play L4D would probably mean my processor and GPU would join the zombie horde.
