The problem is, EA UK aren't as sales friendly as EA US. So GamersGate weren't able to offer the sales worldwide.

Sorry, gyo, I thought it was worldwide.
Dang, and with the EA authorization, I bet it won't auth unless you are in the US (or are good with VPNs). I am very much against different prices for different markets. Then again, I didn't go to business school, so I still have some ethics left in me. FWIW, all the friends that I had that were business majors ended up owing me money (and not paying). Good times.

PincushionMan: GamersGate EA sale continues with Mass Effect 1-day sale (forgive rounding, please):
Mass Effect - $8 (60% off)
Mass Effect 2 - $15 (half off)
Mass Effect Bundle - $25 (half off)
Mass Effect DD Bundle - $30 (half off)
What is Digital Deluxe, anyway?
Gotta have a real video card for ME2, only Nvidia GeForce 6800 and better and AMD Radeon X1600 pro and beyond are supported, but they specifically exclude support for the 100 and 300 series of NVIDIA cards and 200/350 series of Radeon HD cards.
Of course, all are bundled with some sort of protection - both say: "An Internet connection is required for online authentication." Yuk. Is that like UbiDRM? Does that require the crappy ea client software?

It's a one time activation...absolutely nothing like Ubi's system.
And Mass Effect 2 is now mine! :)
Incidentally, GG has already said what the deals will be over the weekend.
Friday:
The Sims 3 - 50%
The Sims 3 World Adventure - 60%
The Sims 2 Double Deluxe - 60%
Spore - 60%

Saturday:
Dragon Age Origins - 50%
Dragon Age Origins Digital Deluxe Edition - 50%
Dragon Age Origins Awakening - 50%

Sunday:
Battlefield Bad Company 2 - 50%
Battlefield 2 Complete - 60%
Medal of Honor Airborne - 60%

Welcome to hell. Well it's a pleasant hell but I just started a new game with all the DLC installed and my god it's just dawned on me how big this game is before you even install any DLC...

Is Spore worth it at that price?

Nice! I guess EA is finally seeing the benefit of sales. I think I'll pick up Spore and Battlefield 2 Complete.
