Rohan15: I checked the mods and saw 'Persistent World.' It's all multiplayer ONLY?

The PWMod is just one very big map. I'd say the size is about one combat battlefield. I haven't been able to try it out with anyone yet, since hosting doesn't work for me, and all the available servers that have PWMod are many many miles away. But, from what I've seen so far in the map, it's just about doing your thing there. It's not really a mod, insomuch as it is just a map.

Guess I won't buy it.

Way ahead of you. My philosophy is: buy first, tell others about it after. I've been looking out for a good deal on that one for a while and that's about half what I would have paid.

One of my favourite games although I am a 2000AD fan. Solid game with a good story and great voice work.

Yeah, you recommended it to me before, actually. Definitely looking forward to that one.
I second the Rogue Trooper recommendation. It's one of the "best games no one played". I bought it on Gamersgate, and you can see my review there:

Seems Square-Enix have withdrawn it from sale. Makes sense I mean you don't actually want to make money these days. *sigh* Hopefully Rebellion have bought the rights and it can come here to GOG where it deserves to be.

When it comes to publishing Rebellion are all over the place. They publish other people's games and seem to get pretty shitty publishing deals for their 2000AD games (thinking mainly of Judge Dredd which was an antique by the time it saw release outside the UK).

They probably took a big hit on Judge Dredd as it bombed (quite rightly really) so I think they thought they were being clever by getting Eidos to pick up the tab on Rogue Trooper. Unfortunately with the Square-Enix buy out it's left a lot of Eidos IP's in limbo. Which again fucks up Rebellion as they actually own both 2000AD and Rogue Trooper.

Strange, I can see it just fine here. I guess it might be because I have the game in my account.
