stonebro: Not technically a deal, but I have to post this:
"The Steam Special Edition contains alternate textures for the Counting House and Cog ship type"
That's from the Steam "Special Edition" of Patrician IV. That's all it says. Wow. I have to buy it now.

Deal of the century!
All the alternative textures in the world aren't going to stop it looking ugly as hell next to Patrician 2.
Another game with fancy graphics ?
Not really a deal, but AVP1 is now out on Gamersgate - good news for those who want to make a backup copy.

Pheace: Zomg, another patrician game?! O.O

Another??
One is from the early eighties, the other two are basically the same game, and now we finally get a non caribbean Hansa Patrician. It was about time. I just hope the game won't be a disappointment *fingers crossed*

Lol, this version has no multiplayer at all. I guess the multi stays as a Steam exclusive feature.
GamersGate added Avernum 6 to the deals.

Well, it uses Steamworks for the multiplayer and GamersGate refuse to have anything to do with Steamworks. So it's was either remove the multiplayer or not sell the game on GamersGate. I guess Rebellion wanted to sell it enough to remove the multiplayer.

gyokzoli: Plain Sight is 80% off on Steam

Wolfox: And for $2 I just had to get it. :-)

Ended up getting Plain Sight from GamersGate. Must say, it's not a bad little time waster with bots. And that $1.99, a great little catch. I don't care for achievements which is why I didn't bother with the Steam version.

What's the problem? (Also, Steam version or non-Steam version?)
I'm mildly tempted by Eschalon Book 1. I'd probably buy it for that price from another distributor, but as it's Impulse, I'll pass for now.

Non-Steam, Gamersgate like yours. This is what I'm getting in my error log:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at PlainSight.UILayer.UnloadTextures()
at PlainSight.GameplayScreen.UnloadContent(Boolean hardExit)
at BeatEngine.ScreenSystem.ScreenManager.UnloadContent()
at Microsoft.Xna.Framework.DrawableGameComponent.Dispose(Boolean disposing)
at Microsoft.Xna.Framework.GameComponent.Dispose()
at Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Game.Dispose(Boolean disposing)
at Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Game.Dispose()
at PlainSight.Program.Main(String[] args)
By the way, can you access Plain Sight\FBX\ and just randomly try to open some of the folders in there? I'm getting an "Access Denied", and as a result I can't delete a previous installation of Plain Sight.

I can access the folders just fine. Have you updated Net framework? The install mentions that you may need to.
And you've tried restarting the PC, right?
Also, give Revo uninstaller a try if you haven't already. That might be able to delete any files you can't. If it can't delete files, it tends to flag them for delete during start up.

Yeah updated the Framework. Even booting the PC in Safe Mode doesn't work on those folders.
I'll try Revo thanks. BTW what OS are you using?

You may need to reinstall the XNA framework
