Mentalepsy: Eh? That's dated July 26th...

Argh. You're right. I went to the Paradox website, and this was the first Twitter post I saw. And somehow, I managed to interpret "Paradox sale" as "Gamersgate sale". Go me @ 12 midnight.

gyokzoli: Which portal? I can't figure it out from that Twitter post.

That was the sale last month. It was definitely on GamersGate, Impulse and Steam. And possibly D2D. But it's long since over.
Lots of sweet adventure games - http://www.gamersgate.com/summersale
The Path, Plain Sight, Flotilla, Saira, etc $4 or thereabouts
It seems it's Indipendent-week on Gamersgate. Very good, many sweet drm-free games.
Some titles: World of Goo (it seems no sale without it), Braid, Machinarium, Flotilla, Osmos, And yet it moves, Emberwind, The Path, Bob came in pieces.

I'm not really familiar with this site so I don't think I'd buy anything there. (no direct faith in the longevity as a DD service I guess)
That said, some good games there (although they're on sale a lot, lol)
I personally *love* Space Rangers 2 Reboot, it's a really nice turn based space trade/combat game.
(don't let the steam site etc and a lot of the review pictures fool you. Yes there's an RTS minigame in there as well but for some reason it seems nearly every site used only those pictures even though you could never play it at all in the game if you want. The real game is the space part)
Reign: Conflict of Nations
£24.99 --> £4.99
And Wut? Didn't this game just come out? xD

It is Eurogamer.net's download store so you can trust them. I bought Aliens vs Predator and Napoleon Total War from here and had no problem with them. Also I have Universe at War from Get Games too and it is DRM free.

Hmm, lots of interesting bargains at GG this week. I'll probably pick up a few of these.
I guess it's finally time to purchase Braid. I played the demo and was underwhelmed, but I'm willing to pay $4 to play around with the full version.

I definitely cannot recommend Get Games right now. I was charged more than was advertised. The Downloader is unstable in ways that make GOG's look good. Further compounded by the fact that there's no browser download option.
It has also corrupted the hell out of the game's files, meaning that I have to go through the whole miserable process again. It also claims that the crashed instances are still running when I try to restart it. Not only is this slowing it down. But it may also explain the corrupted files.
Lucky I only bought something very cheap from them to test them out.
I'll see what their support has to say about this. But right now it's not looking good.

Oh, well there's one I guess. It might not if you buy it from the publishers site? Ask them anyway, they're quite responsive. I know the D2D version is listed as DRM free.
