Ended paying for Alpha Protocol in Euros as it actually turned out to be the cheapest price (17.99 Euro was under 2000 yen, while both the pounds and dollar prices were just over 2000 yen). So it seems that for once, the Euro zone got the cheaper price. Checking other games on there though, I see Euro tends to be the highest price.

Oxymoron

A good Ubisoft deal on D2D would be D2D dropping the publisher entirely. Plus, those prices are no better than what I'm seeing on sites like Play and Amazon. In fact they're worse.

Yeah. I grabbed those. Figure, the DOOM 3's are probably worth 10 bucks for goofing around. And getting digital copies of the good ones for the extra 4 bucks just sweetened the deal.

I think I have seen it all now. Fancied the Rainbow Six Vegas 1&2 pack but the UK site version is only for the UK. So I popped over over to the EU site and went to buy it and apparently the game is restricted on my IP? So what Ireland is not a member of the EU now? Fuck you right in the ear Ubisoft.

I really recommend Darkness Within 2. But it's a story driven game, so you have to play the first one.

I tried it for 13 minutes. That was enough time for me to discover that the game is complete ass. It just boils down to flying around and shooting wildly in a level with a bunch of other people doing the same, dying every 12 seconds, and repeating that for 15 minutes.
Oh, and not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but Gamersgate has added a few games to its week 2 summer sale for the weekend :
Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Arma Gold and Arma 2 are all 50% off now.

I'm going to give Booster Trooper a try now but I doubt I'll by it. Keep in mind the multi-player community is deader than a door nail and the game is essentially multi-player only... unless you want to play with bots.

Tried Booster Trooper. Plays like Soldat, but not as good.
