Tantrix: If xabbott is providing a complete picture of the sale, then it is indeed a sucky one. No individual discounts on most titles leaves me uninterested.

Navagon: And almost all ID games are restricted here at Germany. They lowered the price (here it costs 40 bucks), but really, almost all Quake and Doom games are missing, inlcudingleaving out any Wolfenstein , so this pack is complete bullshit.
I am glad a richt /v/irgin gifted me the whole ID pack on summer sale, but even if I didn't had it, I still would feel insulted.

acare84: Get Games site had a makeover and has great deals.
Napoleon Total War: 12.49
Aliens vs Predator: 12.49
And 1C Games have discounts.

Wow, and they now accept PayPal!
edit: lol, no. They have the PayPal logo on their site, but you can't choose it as a payment option.

Oh yeah, I didn't think about that. In Germany it must be one of the most sucky sales Steam have ever done. Even if they did release the games they'd be censored versions. Which would be worse if anything.

Falci: Is booster trooper any good? I was thinking about picking it up. Seemed like a fun UT-like side scroller.

It has a free weekend on Steam you can try it. I tried it and didn't like it. Soldat is better for me.

I know it's been mentioned in another post but Gamersgates sale still has some pretty good offers. Faces of war for a quid needs to be mentioned i think its DRM free too.

Seems to be. Picked it up myself given the stupid price.

I've noticed no indication of DRM. It's not quite as good as Men of War. But it would be crazy not to grab it at that price.
Faces of War was even cheaper a few weeks ago. Don't think anyone will care about 25 cents, though.
I decided not to buy it then because it didn't seem to be cup of tea. Now I will have to think about it all over again.
*Sigh*

Alpha Protocol for £14.99? I might just give that a go (assuming I can actually buy from GetGames -- never tried them before).

I can't see you having a problem. Register an account but then switch the price to pounds. When I logged in it had Napoleon at €19.99 but I switched the currency to pounds and paid €15.49 or something. It seems regional pricing is in place but not enforced (yet?)
Darn, actually was thinking of getting faces of war as it looks sort of interesting, at least for that price, but I just noticed windows 7 is not supported. Anyone knows if it works or not? I'm guessing not :(

Just tried it on Win7 64bit and it's fine. Also I can confirm its DRM free.

sweet, thanks a lot. I'll get it then since it's not on Steam anyway. (My first foray away from Steam/Gog... I'm spreading out! :( )

Besides, you have any problems with sommat from GamersGate, they'll be all too happy to help.

Not really worried about their service but so far I've been trying not to spread my game collection out over too many services, lol. Kind of like my games in one or two places tops. But like I said, FoW isn't even on steam so no biggy there I guess ^^
