Mentalepsy: For some reason it doesn't appear in the list of current offers, but Mass Effect 2 is 25% off ($30) on Gamersgate US.
I think I'll wait for $20 or less, though.

ClickClickBoom: $14.97 good enuff? It is now 50% of the original $29.95 at Gamersgate.com.

I haven't finished ME1 yet, but I don't think I can pass up this deal. I paid $5 for ME1 almost a year ago, so I don't know if I should get ME2 or wait until it's that cheap. Now, if COD:MW2 would drop in price!!!

Mass Effect 2 is easily worth $15. You could wait, it will probably be around $10 at Christmas, but if you're close to finishing the first one, you might as well pick it up now.

Vagabond: Machinarium - $5
http://machinarium.net/demo/
Also, screw all of you that pirated it.

I really love to buy Indie games directly from the publisher, but why the hell they want my telephone number and adress? I tried to order with my adress (what I normally not do for an online order) and blanked the phone number (fear of phone advertising), but you need to use minimum 8 numbers. Should I trick or should I wait for a sale from an online distributor? 4 euros (5$) is a steal for this game, but stupid manner loke this gets really on my nerve.
Not necessarily huge on GSB (looks nifty, but I like having a bit more control in some areas and a lot less in others), but at 7 bucks fur the game and all the DLC, I'll give it a shot. Should be fun as a distraction, at the very least.

Personally, I would put in a fake number. If they have your address, they really don't need a phone... and what if you really didn't have a phone? That is just silly. I only (used to) have a cell phone, so I'd never give that number out. Just got a "real" phone when we moved and our cable co gave us a good deal on a land line. (Voice over IP I presume, but still a normal phone); I definitely not giving out that number.

kScope: Gratuitous Space Battles sale on steam

Awesome! I've heard good things about this game. Missed out on a good deal on this game awhile back, then almost paid twice the price a few weeks ago. Glad I waited. It's a gimmie at this price.

That info is either a standardized part of the system they use for purchases/registration or is there to help you in the event that there is a problem.
And, if it supports your country, look into Google Voice. In its current form, it operates as a really nice wrapper. You can have it forward calls to your (cell) phone(s), but people call the Google Voice number. And any voicemails get transcribed (actually pretty good voice recognition) so that you can check your email if you get a call during a meeting.
But the feature I like the most: you can block callers. So if a telemarketer gets the number, just block them (after making sure to get listed as an "irate, do not call")

Sweet! That sounds awesome! Will be looking into that.

kScope: Gratuitous Space Battles sale on steam

I wish it had the same price on GamersGate and/or Impulse.
BTW, http://www.greenmangaming.com extended it's BOGO (Buy One, Get One) sale; it was supposed to be one day only. Not a whole lot of games to choose from, but it's not bad.
Deal Details:
Buy this game and receive a voucher, via email, to the same value to be redeemed against any other game on Green Man Gaming. Voucher must be redeemed within 30 days of initial purchase. Offer limited to one voucher per customer.
So, that is kinda cool. If you find a game you really want, but can't find a second one you can wait a month :).
Puzzle Quest 2 is coming to Steam. %10 off with the pre-purchase.
This night I had a terrible bad dream about a sale on GOG where old and crappy games were reduced in price by 90% just to torment me....
Please, I never want to dream such things again. ;)
Additional RPGs on sale on Gamersgate:
Sacred 2 50% off ($14.98)
Star Wolves 3 50% off ($14.98)
How is Loki? It is worth it for $3.39 on Gamersgate?

Lol, I was just about to ask the same. :D
Impulse has Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box for $15. Not sure it's worth that, 'cause I've seen it for 1/2 that at a certain giant's summer sale. I suppose it's a hook for the 5 or 10 other pieces of DLC that are out there (at about 9$ a pop), including a pack of cars that includes flying Delorian among other 80s favorites.
Also, it doesn't seem to like any joysticks that I have (either analog or USB). I've heard it requires the Xbox360 USB joystick - not sure, but seems likely. All I can say is at a specific point (either license B to A or A to ?), the rather hapless drivers become very vicious drivers, and playing with a keyboard becomes prohibitively hard.

It has some nice ideas for the diablo clone genre but its not a great game in itself. The crafting is great. The combat though starts off really hard and then after a while it flows better but they artificially extended the levels just to make the game last longer. Instead of one long area to get from a to b they put 3 identical long area's between each. They do this throughout the entire game.
The multiplayer is also dead, it was dead when the game was new and to beable to play multiplayer you need to sign up a ton of different places and through a maze of websites. It took me 15 minutes to get the game online only to find out no one else was playing.
So it kind of depends how into the genre you are. I mean it looks quite nice and once you put a bit of time into it the combat flows quite well with lots of killing and not to much downtime. But it is a bit of a mindless game even more so then usual.
