taczillabr: Steam:
Alien Breed: Impact 50% off, $7.49.
Two pack is $11.24, so ends being $5.62 each copy. ;)

Wolfox: Even then, I doubt it will sell, now that anyone can get Alien Swarm on Steam for free...

How so? Isn't Alien Swarm a multiplayer only/mainly game?
Alien Breed is heavy on the single player.

Well, the coop in Alien Swarm is better - and even if Alien Breed: Impact has better single player levels currently, Alien Swarm was released with the SDK, which might produce much more varied single and multi player levels soon enough. Also, Alien Swarm is free. You can't beat that price. ;-)
Hey, no question that Alien Swarm is great for the price asked, I am just saying that Alien Breed is a terrific game for what game it is and well worth the price of admission, including of course the temp sale one now. :)
I have no interest in online play so there is no competition between the two for my time. :)

acare84: Anyone wants to do 2 pack with me for Alien Breed? You can Paypal me money and I can gift your game. Let me know if you want.

How much did you pay for the game? In EU tier2, the 2 pack costs 8,44 euros which means 4,22 for each copy. If you bought it for the same price (tier1 price are higher), then you can count me in.

I bought only one for me because no one answered me yesterday. I bought it for $7.49 and two pack is $11.24 for me on Steam.
I used the NEWSTAR50 coupon to buy super laser racer and new star gp for $6.24.
If using paypal and don't live in the us, uk or europe, I recommend setting the currency to USD and not your local currency. The reason is that NEWSTAR uses a fixed conversion rate. For example it's .918 cad/usd conversion even though the canadian dollar is at .98 which means after the 2.5% on top on conversion I still got .95 cad per usd saving me about 25 cents. Doesn't seem like much but hey why not save extra if you can.
I looked through the Gamers Gate sale and many of the prices seems great. Deus Ex was under $4, as was its sequel. Torchlight was under $5.
But then I looked again and SecuROM was listed for Deus Ex and its sequel. It was also listed for both King's Quest games on sale. Ditto for Torchlight.
Ugh, somehow I knew that there would be a catch. I've heard some bad things about DRM, but please tell me SecuROM isn't that bad on those games and they won't wreck my computer. Their prices are too low to resist. Hopefully Armored Princess will also make it to GOG in the future, though I can't say if it even will be on this site anytime soon.

Armoured Princess will probably be released at least a year from now. But It almost certainly will make it here eventually. I suppose it depends on whether or not GOG get EA on board in the meantime.
As for the the DRM, the fact that it's SecuROM doesn't tell you very much as implementations of SecuROM could be anything from a simple disc check through to something which is so invasive that it's essentially malware. It's all down to the publisher as to what features of the DRM are used.
The only advice I can offer you is to ask GG support about specifically what the DRM does. Such as if there are limited activations, if so are they refunded and how are they refunded.

I can tell you now, that the form of SecuROM GamersGate generally use is completely harmless. It's simply a quick online authentication after which you can play the games offline (unless it's an online multiplayer game of course).
As for activation limits. There are essentially, none. GamersGate support will always top up expired activations should the need arise. but as Navagon says, simply ask support about specific DRM measures on a game and they will be all to happy to tell you.

I bought King's Bounty Legend on GG and I even haven't noticed it has protection. I only had to enter serial key during instalation and now it launches without any hindrance.

Mentalepsy: For some reason it doesn't appear in the list of current offers, but Mass Effect 2 is 25% off ($30) on Gamersgate US.
I think I'll wait for $20 or less, though.

$14.97 good enuff? It is now 50% of the original $29.95 at Gamersgate.com.

I haven't finished ME1 yet, but I don't think I can pass up this deal. I paid $5 for ME1 almost a year ago, so I don't know if I should get ME2 or wait until it's that cheap. Now, if COD:MW2 would drop in price!!!

Concerning Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 deals on GamersGate, while they are 50% off for the US, for regions who must purchase from the co.uk site (basically ROW), you get the discount, however, you will instead be given 50% of the price paid back in the form of Blue Coins -- which can then be spent on any other product sold on GamersGate. They've done this as they couldn't get approval for 50% off worldwide, so they've basically applied the 50% off at their end instead.
