Thanks, was somewhat interested in both these games, but at this price I went ahead.

I think it's because normally when one game of a certain publisher or series goes on sale for a percentage, usually all of the games/collections by that series and publisher goes for the same percentage. Castle Crashers just hit a flash sale for 90% off and BattleBlock was on a 75% daily deal, so Steam got confused. ;)

I noticed in the community voting options Castle Crashers was listed at 90% discount, but when the sale when live the game itself was only 75% off... so I don't think this is a bug because of prior advertising (initially I was miffed at the deception). Shame for all those people duped into buying Castle Crashers or BattleBlock alone for $3.74 each. +1, thanks for posting.
