drmlessgames: Sucks. And it was because of the Sum 41 crap song? Couldnt gog just release the game without soundtrack?

Not without removing the song from the start of the game, I expect.
edit- didnt see telltale sale was posted already. Oh well

gogamer.com has a 48 hour madness sale with some good deals. One cool thing they have on sale is a portable device that plays Sega Genesis carts.
Some of the PC titles on sale are:
Company of Heroes $3.90
Trine: $3.90
The Movies: $1.90
Starcraft Battlechest $12.90
For the full list of titles go here:

A word of warning on that RetroGen. Yes, it does play Genesis carts, but via emulation instead of real 68000/Z80s like the Genesis had. It's not perfect, and I've heard that the sound is pants and the controller leaves something to be desired (you can simultaneously press all four directions of the d-pad at once. So steer clear if you like beat-em-ups, as it is very difficult to pull off the moves. Of course, it is also only single player. Also heard at least one person complaining about compatibility with Phantasy Star IV and multicart games (I think they meant the Sonic/Knuckles combo, but not sure).
Red Faction Guerrilla and Metro 2033 bundle sold here in Singapore for SGD50, which is about USD37. If anyone's interested, I can ship you the games; you just have to pay for them and the postage.
Red Faction Guerrilla - one of the best games I've ever played but runs like crap. Hell load of fun, hell lot of frustration as well.
Damnit, looks like steam realised their accidental lack of regional discrimination, mafia 2 preorder was 50 bucks last night and 80 now...

Thats why the copyright laws need a major overhaul into a 2 tiered model, if the music is a primary draw of the product (eg: guitar hero or a dvd of live music from a tv show) then the licence fee is higher because the contribution is higher but in the case of a game with a song in the intro that people will mostly skip or background music in a doctor who episode then there's no way they should have to pay the full licence fee

PincushionMan: Still a bit angry I have a box & useless discs on my shelf. It's a reminder never to do that again.

Navagon: In which case just install the DRM-removing retail patch for the game. My copy doesn't need the disc even.

Problem is I cannot install/activate. I had a hard-drive crash and lost the Windows installed copy, so I'm hosed, now.

RF:G uses GOO, so it just needs the key to activate with Impulse.
Metro 2033 uses Steam, so it just needs the key to activate with Steam.
I have both, but you might want to clarify that people who don't want the boxes can just pay for the game and skip shipping.

You can't even install it? Damn, your copy really came with some shitty DRM.
Sucks that gogamer only ships to the USA. And I don't see The Movies in the site.

Yeah, I'm certain had to authenticate to install. Wait, that may have just been a limitation during the beta test... Maybe my discs aren't so bad, then. I'll have to try install it this weekend to try it out.

:D Would be interesting to see if D2D sells Mafia II as well.

Copyright laws are crap. ; )

Beta? Yeah, that makes a lot more sense to have activation limits with that. Because I've only got the standard edition that, as far as I'm aware, is identical to what's being sold in the US. Only a disc check here and even that's gone now.

drmlessgames: That's a good question. I really want to buy Obscure, and GoG told a few months back they'll deal with the issue. If it's just because of one track there is sure a way just to remove it. Even from the game...

Noted.
So if anyone's interested, give a shout.
