lowyhong: I bought Max and the Magic Marker on Steam, having not been able to find it anywhere else, but since it's on Gamersgate, I'll buy it again.
it was on Impulse before they released it on Steam.
I'm actually rather tempted by some of the pre-UBIDRM games. Call of Juarez 2 and HAWX especially. Rainbow Six Vegas at €5 seems too good to resist as well.

I'm not sure I would even pay £10, or the euro equivalent, for Call Of Juarez 2 (I rented it). I enjoyed the campaign as I was playing it, and the mechanics were fun, but I finished it in under 7 hours, and the ending felt like a large character ret-con for those who have played the original.
RS:V for £5 looks like a winner though.
EDIT:For sake of clarity

Just an FYI but I thought I remembered seeing somewhere that CoJ 2 has Tages.

It does, as does HAWX and most of those Ubi games on GG. The thing is I know I can trust GG when it comes to DRM like that. Highly doubt they will ever leave me without an activation so if I am going to buy something with DRM it will be from GG.

That's exactly how I feel too.
Unfortunately, for those in North America, most of the Ubisoft titles are not discounted as GamersGate are unable to offer those sales in that region. But you can have titles gifted from any region in which the sales are offered.
GG:
Max and the Magic Marker PC version comes with SecuROM ?

Should be a lite version of ScrewedupROM, but you can check with the GG guys to verify.

How exactly does this work? Either way, it would involve calling the included phone number (hidden in the manual or gotten from support) and requesting more activations (did it for MEPC way back as a test). So unless GamersGate is going to distribute illegal cracks, they would be doing the same thing you can do (just with more middle men :p).

IIRC, they just give you another CD key.

So they recycle serial numbers, I take it? Because I have a hard time believing they are willing to give you five keys for the price of one :p

Anyone who has had problems with limited activations through GG has just sent them an e-mail and GG has added more activations without question. Don't deal with the publisher at all just contact GG directly and they will add more activations.

ScrewedupROM, :D +1 for that one.

Yes, GG does this by calling the support number, as I mentioned :p
Don't get me wrong, it is nice that they would do that for their customers. But it isn't really something the customer can't do (and would probably be faster if the customer DID do it).

Navagon: Gratuitous Space Battles Complete 17 on Impulse. From the man that called Epic's Mark Rein a jerk.

Hmm, it's still a little bit pricey for a tower defence game. I think I'll wait for a price drop.
