dyscode: thx, . Also according to Steam Discussions it's still locked.
avatar
kjx: But, how is it locked? This game is baned in Germany? EU version sold by EU's GamersGate should work in all countries in EU.
Locked means if you buy it in one country and try to activate or play it in another you cannot do it.
I will soon be back in Japan, so If I buy it here, I cannot play it there.

And you know Koch Media/ Deep Silver has a history of locking games that way.

First DRM Free version I've seen.

But Amazon has Lego Marvel Super Heroes for ~$12 USD.

Marvel Super Heroes
Borderlands 2 is 125% off, -$15.01 at Steam. Well, on the front page anyway.

New Humble Weekly

Pay what you want (at least $1 for Steam keys):
Samorost 2 (not redeemable on Steam)
Machinarium
Lume
Windosill

Pay $6 or more to also get:
Shelter + The Circle Storybook
Botanicula + Artbook and Maps

All of these games come DRM-free for Windows and Mac, with select games available for Linux and Android. Steam redemption is also available for all games except Samorost 2.

EDIT: Thanks to triock for mentioning that you have to pay $1 for steam keys. You only get that info when trying to check out for less than $1.

So that's Steam's money back policy?

Haha, I wish it was!
Sega 48 game mega pack on Amazon for $5. I don't have it, but it seems like it'd appeal to retro gamers

Is it DRM free or is it for steam?

theslitherydeee: Is it DRM free or is it for steam?
On the Amazon page for the game, one of the reviewers said the following:
I was wondering the same thing, decided to go ahead and pick up the Sega 48-game Mega Pack and find out. Here's how it worked:
1. Download the 12 separate .exes from your Amazon games/purchase page (each .exe is a little under 1Mb).
2. Run one of the .exes to launch the Amazon Downloader, which then downloads the actual setup app to your desktop (for example, SetUpGamePack1.exe, 23.4Mb).
3. You can then install the program right from the 'Amazon Download' window. But the full SetUp_whatever.exe is still going to be on your desktop. So, as far as I can tell, the games are DRM-free once you've gotten through the initial downloading portions.
*And to be super clear - There are no codes/keys at all - No Steam*
Hope that helps!
