About the only good deal today is Zeno Clash at £2.81. Americans are getting ripped off there it seems.

Rohan15: Cash I'm spending on Steam today: $0.00

The US is getting absolutely shafted there. UK prices are far cheaper. The only rip off for us is Company of Heroes which is cheaper if bought individually.

That, and nothing remotely interesting for sale to me. Waiting for Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Until then, back to Killing Floor.
I'm seeing L4D2 for $10, not HL for $7ish.

Well, that's probably a little cheaper if anything.
2.81 pounds is $4.24USD. (1.50USD per pound)
3 euros is $3.70USD ($1.23USD per euro)
Game price is $3.75USD for zeno clash
Actually, US/Canadians have it pretty good.
Tried audiosurf demo today. Cool, but not for me. Looks like I have to wait at least another day for beat hazard to be further discounted.

So either it was a mistake and they've fixed it or the price hike is only hitting the US.

A lot of times when people here post the new sales immediately, the actual sale price isn't properly reflected on the front page. When you go to that game page, the correct price was then displayed. It usally takes 5-10 mintes for the correct one day special price to show up on the main steam store page

Audiosurf is a must have game especially for this really low discount price.
get zeno clash, if only for the experience (though i did find the brawling quite fun)
some of the levels are just... wow. and it's definitely got some of the sharpest visuals i have ever seen.
L4D2 is awesome deal at that price. Anyone looking to play an awesome zombie shooter, should get it. :)

Seconded. It's one of those games you don't forget easily even if it's not exactly the longest game ever.
And today's shit deals on Steam:
Civilization games: 75% off
Dawn of War 2 Gold Edition: $20
Flotilla: $2.50
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men for $5
Half-Life: $1.69
Max Payne: $2.49
EVE Online: Tyrannis: $2
Gothic bundle: $2
Money I'm spending today on Steam: $2.50 for Flotilla.
Now this is beautiful...
