If only you knew what sorts of things someone of my age has encountered...!
Too bad that at this age, I'm pretty senile and can only remember the last two decades or so... ;-)

Isn't that seppuku? And how can killing yourself damage him?
Ahh, guilt, I see.

DrIstvaan: Could anyone tell me if Grand Ages: Rome is worth the current, €10 asking price? I've read mixed opinions on it, but I like the setting itself.
If this helps, although I grew up with the Caesars (particularly C3), I also found Imperium Romanum quite likeable, despite its shortcomings.

If you liked Imperium Romanum, there's a good chance you'll like Grand Ages: Rome, as it is kind of a sequel to that game. I have Grand Ages: Rome, but to be honest, I haven't played it much at all (yet).

Grand Ages Rome, Imperium Romanum and Glory of the Roman Empire are all basically the same game. So if you own either IR or GotRE, you might want to give the demo for Grand Ages Rome a try to determine if the differences made are enough to justify the purchase for you.
You can get the demo of places such as Fileplanet.

@Wolfox, bansama
Thank you, I'll probably grab it while it's on offer then, but maybe check the demo first.
TBH, I got ImpRom for free, as a bundled game with a magazine, so that required no extra investment on my part.

Indeed, it's from PC Guru, and ImpRom turned out to be a much more enjoyable game than I expected. Too bad that, like much every Kalypso title, it lacks any kind of editor.
I haven't got GameStar yet, but I'll be sure to pick it up soon (just for the bundled game).

Wow game magazine is giving King Arthur - The Role-playing Wargame? It can be activated via Steam? Because it is a Steamworks game. It is on the retail cd keys section on Steam Support.

Yes, it does indeed require Steamworks. A good friend of mine, who didn't have Steam installed previously, had to install it JUST to play King Arthur, which annoyed him greatly. Also, it's quite unusual that you have to do something like this with a bundled game.

The non Steam version doesn't have multiplayer, so that's probably why they went with the Steam version. In any case, it's a good game.
