Did anyone notice that you can buy the Oblivion and Morrowind GOTY games separately for £10, but if you buy them together in the game-pack, it's £25?? O_-

That happens a lot. It probably has to do with how the deals are applied.

What is the DRM policy in that store?

They say you can only download it six times (before you need to contact staff for more), but you can back it up with the serial they give you and install it as much as you like from that. So I'd imagine it's very light/non-existent.
I'd like to know if games are tested for Win7 64bit compatibility though.

Prator: Meh, you all may already know about this, but TV Tropes is actually a decent site for finding freeware or shareware.

Thanks. I took the liberty of posting it here, ok? There's already a guy who liked this link. ;)

powered by Metaboli
" Download your game at max speed
* Download your game up to 6 times
* If you need more than 6 downloads, request more from Customer Support
* Of course, you can always burn a copy of your game onto a CD
Install your game on multiple PCs thanks to your serial number
* You can uninstall and re-install your game on the same PC as many times as you want*
* You can install your game on 3 different PCs without help from Customer Support
* If you need to install your game on more than 3 different PCs you can request this from Customer Support ( support.adventureshop@gamesplanet.com ) "

Metoboli sucks and their support is really awful.

Tantrix: Ah heck.
Nevermind then, just wait till WW goes GoG

That sounds like a better plan. Read below for my rental misadventures.
First, I must say, the GfWL installer is God-awful. First problem (XP, SP3) I had to install some random hotfix. First 3 times I tried to install it, it complained I didn't meet the requirements to install it, but didn't tell me what those requirements were. I guess they are secret. Maybe Windows Genuine Advantage or some such. Anyway, after about three tries, it patched itself and the GfWL installer was ready to install things.
So, I downloaded PoP:WW - nice speedy download, 500 MB later it was ready to install. Tried to install it and got - BAM generic installer error #1 - ooh, how helpful. Only choice was to delete and reinstall. 500 more MB later, I tried to install again, same result. Error 8007000d. Gotta love those 16 bit hexadecimal error codes, reminds me of debug.
Oh, I see. It won't install unless your hard drive letter is C: and only C:. It seems the scripting requires that Windows be located at C:\Windows and the system files under that. How lame. I don't think I can change my HD letter without seriously hosing Windows. Guess a repair install is in my future. Can't Windows tell a program where it lives? Gah!
Still doesn't change my opinion of GfWL. I'd give it a 1/4 stars, and would advise that people keep their money away from MS. I've heard nothing but complaints. It's already at version 3, and people are still complaining. That's not a good sign.
Any thought on that Iron grip warlord game? Sounds like it's fun but not very lasting. For 5 bucks that's reasonable. Any "catches" I should be aware of?

Played it as a mod. Had potential, but it was way too easy to dominate the other team. Never really had the back and forth, just had the "Yay, we got the upper hand, let's sodomize them"
