Metro09: Been waiting for a Fallout 3 GOTY sale forever. Was hoping for more than 50% but the newer Bethesda titles rarely go on sale. Anyone have a guess as to how many hours of game play it + all the expansions yield? Debating whether I should just get it at 50% off or take a risk and see if it goes lower at Christmas.

It's at least 100+ hours, not including any additional hours from mods.

OmegaX: It doesn't say what Shadow of Chernobyl uses but it should be DRM Free.
Call of Pripyat does use TAGES.

pops117: I might drop them a mail... although don't they have a general inquiries inbox instead of the support one?
By the way I'm only getting around 80kB/s :(

I find it easier to reach them at Twitter: twitter.com/GamersGate

Does anybody know if the F3 GOTY, Oblivion GOTY or Morrowind GOTY are capable of using additional mods? (of course I'm talking about the Steam version). It's the only thing that stops me from buying those games.

Yes.
The only one with any problems at all is Morrowind which cannot use any of the script extenders without a crack. Oblivion has a special version, and I expect Fallout 3 does as well.
Beyond that, every mod works perfectly. And considering the very small number of mods that actually use any of the script extenders, it is likely you wouldn't use those anyway (I stopped long ago since they kill stability).

I spent 400+ hours doing everything (all of the DLC) and a lot of searching. Includes some mod quests as well. Needless to say, I have not regretted buying the original FO3 and then the GOTY later. Of course your mileage may vary.
Sounds like a deal then -- thanks all for the feedback.
Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Morrowing GOTY editions are all on sale on Steam in celebration of the upcoming new Fallout game. Fallout 3 GOTY is I think $29, Oblivion GOTY ~$9, and Morrowing GOTY $5
TF2 (Team Fortress 2) is $10 on Steam. Free play weekend also.
I haven't played Team Fortress since Valve and Sierra were buddies, so I can't comment about how good it is or isn't.

Meh, you all may already know about this, but TV Tropes is actually a decent site for finding freeware or shareware.
