I might be wrong but I'm hoping that what they're doing is adding in some dumbed down texture sets and graphics tweaks so people with slower computers can option-down the eye candy and run 2081 as well.

It will encourage more online participation seeing as 2081 is meant to be focused mostly on multi-player.

We're still waiting on that guy doing Cortex Command as well. XD

Seriously, we could only hope. I came really close to buying 2081 when it was 75% off ($10) on GMG since the price was right (I'm not paying $20-30 for a game and then paying $20-30 for another game that's content that was originally planned to be included with the first game). Then I saw it STILL hadn't left pre-alpha.

Even if I don't use Amazon myself, this is such a great price and you should take advantage of it. Forget all the whining these games got, and just enjoy three splendid shooters. $14.98. No idea if they activate on Origin or not.
