johnki: And I still would like to try the others
Isn't the content from the others included into Renaissance?

Is it? I assumed it was its own thing based on the same premise, and that people just liked it more. I mean, it was bundled with the others on GG...I think.

EDIT:
Stand Alone Addon, the original game or its addons are not needed
Doesn't sound like they are.

EDIT2: Oh, a review says they are all included. Bleh, should have jumped on the GG sale then. Oh well.

EDIT3: But the other reviews sound like it doesn't include the content and makes a few unfavorable changes. Now I'm confused.

EDIT4: Ah, it has all of the maps but it contains the changes made for Renaissance in that content. Guess it's up to the person to decide whether or not that's a good thing, and it seems to go back and forth in the reviews.

It does include everything (as in maps, all of the proffesions and adds some, all of the buildings) hence why we keep saying you only need that... Companies will always try to milk money through bundles.

Licurg: Don't use Amazon, so can't help ya there.
Np. Thanks.

GoJays2025: The deal on Amazon was $12 or $13 for Series 1 to 5 (GG is only 1 to 4), Sonic CD, and Renegade Ops complete. Definitely a MUCH better deal. Plus each week of the sale at GG had a different series on sale for $2.25 (Series 4 is on sale still for this week), so you could have grabbed them all for $9, or $7.65 with IGN discount.
Yeah, I thought it was something like that. Will wait then. Thanks.

etna87: Does anyone know if Anno 1404 from GetGames is available in German (or if GetGames generally provides multiple localizations)? This is one of the few cases where I would prefer the (original) German audio.
I'm interested in that too. The only game I got from GetGames so far was JA2 and that was English only.
Why GG pull Crysis???

Oh ffs nvm. They changed the page for the ad. And left the link to the original.

Any fan of RPGs, especially if you've maybe been put off by JRPGs, should play this. It's short, cheap, on the downside: clunky and lacks polish. It's like a JRPG-lite, the flying mechanic gets old by the end, but I have to say it felt rather unique and new even midway in, definitely worth experiencing for such a low price.

Incidentally, I think the XBLA version is on sale this week for 200 points (2.50 USD), might only be available to Gold members though.

I liked it a lot, might be a bit generic but it have a truly unique magic system. Well worth the price if you don't have it yet.

Yeah, the magic system is what makes the game worth playing. Magic is also fairly powerful in the game, so you can be a pure mage without much of a problem. Highly recommend the game.
