I'm not defending any side, as I am a user of both gog and steam. But you just can't compare a deal price with the regular price here.
In the last kalypso promo here, you could get the four commandos games for $8 ($3+$5), now comparing with the steam deal for $5 I still do prefer paying an extra $3 here to have my games running anywhere without internet connection/whatever drm, and have the exes fixed for running on multi core cpus, a problem which happens in the first and second games IIRC and steam gives a shit about.
