taczillabr: Still, I don't get what makes Impulse that much worse than D2D.

This really is the subject for another thread. But simply put, it's their attitude in how they do business. As I say, it's the subject for another thread and the current thread has some good examples of that attitude.
As for restrictions, that only really counts (at least for Impulse) for Capcom and EA -- at least the last time I could be bothered to check their site. All other publishers (that are restricted on Impulse) do offer their games to most other countries via almost all the other services. As for D2D, at least they have shown an active desire to expand to other regions (however badly they are doing in the regard right now).
Well, as expected the only games i wanted so far are regionally restricted. sigh.
If you're in the right region then Dark Corners of the Earth is pretty cool... though it's buggy in places, and I couldn't finish the final mission without an unofficial registry pack.
The first half is amazing though.

I know, sorry for the derailing.
And thanks for your testimonial about impulse. :p

Which games?
Zombie Driver 50% off on steam.

taczillabr: OK then, I'll let the europeans reclaim that from the support.
Still, I don't get what makes Impulse that much worse than D2D.
At least I have more products available to buy from Impulse, and for you in Japan I guess you don't get more of the hot releases because the publishers don't allow it, not Impulse.

Just to close this, Brazil is most of the time dealt with like if it is USA in terms of regional restrictions. That's why you don't see problems with Impulse.
Zombie Driver is indeed also 50% off at Steam, and it also has steam achievements or whatever they are called. I still got the GG version for the less DRM.

Many games I can buy through Impulse's client are listed as not avaliable in my region through their site. Maybe you guys could check it out and see if it works out for you.

GOD DAMN, YOU STUPID GITS, WHAT IS THE POINT OF LISTING THIS, GIVING IT IT"S OWN PRICE FOR THE UK/EU, IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF SELLING IT TO US.
WHAT. IS. THE. POINT.
Not that I was going to buy it anyway, but it is always nice to get angry.

Al1: *snip*

Again, as per my previous post, why not contact their support? It's most likely an error that they will fix (one way or another) once brought to their attention.

That price on Dirt 2 sure is tempting. But I've never used D2D before. Don't know if I want too.
