Navagon: And also install limits on every game, guaranteed!

well, I bought the retail version of Mirrors Edge for $5 based off of the fact that for even just $5 renting the game isn't that bad.

D2D have an extra special UK edition of Saints Row 2 with an extra special UK price. They don't even try and hide the fact that the US version is substantially cheaper either.

Yeah, the Dong has been on of the least valuable currencies for quite a while, changing places with the Zimbabwean dollar and São Tomé and Príncipe dobra a number of times in the last few years, but always getting back in the lead after a while.
Bravo, even the "europeans can use" D2D UK have started limiting games for UK only, as Saints Row 2 shows... Steam sells it over here but for whopping 49,99 euros. And as usual, some UK retail store has it for about 13 euros including shipping.
Steam is selling Garry's Mod for 4,99 euros (and whatever that would be in dollars, $0,99?) for this week. Sounds tempting, but is it more a game or a visual lua programming simulation?

Weclock: And also, Riddick!

Which for $5 I would have bought. But no, they had to have regional ****ing restrictions.
Regional prices too. I'd love to see them pull that 5 of any currency bullshit with Yen.
And if they did, they would go the "one coin" route and charge 500 yen.
Haha, DONG.
"How much dong do you have in your pants?"
Sorry. Carry on.

Certainly not. GTA IV runs smoothly at all times. While Saints Row 2 runs smoothly until you get into a vehicle, then you get between 5 to 10 fps while driving -- especially at high speeds.
ok, so it appears that i can finally buy bioshock from japan (the steam deals never worked here). But what's the deal with Direct2Drive/Bioshock and DRM, clients, etc?
Also, anyone know anywhere doing good prices on Mirror's Edge or STALKER (digital & international)?

Lucky you, but you only need look on the Steam forums and the official forums for proof that plenty of us are having major issues with the game and Volition refuse to patch it.
Yep, GTA4 runs woderfully for me... I think most people are processor limited on that game, but refuse to turn down settings.
Saints Row 2 on the other hand runs like crap no matter what I do... even at 640x480 with everything on low it dips to 20s... it is just broken.
Edit: I got Frontlines Fuel of War, cause why not, and Riddick, which I have a hard copy of, but wanted a digital copy.
