gameon: All this ps2 talk is quite interesting. I'm looking to sell my ps2 (with 21 games, multitap, memory card and some contollers).

I tried to run my fahrenheit game on pc emulated, and it was slow framerates, despite having a quad core cpu, and a half decent graphics card!

GameRager: My advice: Keep the PS2 in case you want to emulate later or ever feel the itch to play again....unless you have a (rare) PS2 compatible PS3 anyways. Some of the games for PS2 are damn fun to play and not having a PS2 can suck bigtime if you ever want to play it again(or if you want to emulate "legally" by having a ps2 when you emulate games you own.)

As for the slow speeds, it depends on the settings you pick for graphics output, as well as what plugins for graphics/etc you use. Setting the settings too high or using outdated ps2 emulator plugins can cause lag and bugs, afaik.
I just bought a PS2 for thirty bucks at Gamestop. Works great. Fun to play those games on the TV. Cheap! Cheap! I couldn't be bothered screwing around with emulating myself when I just play the real deal on a bigger screen. :-)

Crosmando: Well yes, I can use my log-in on the UK site, but the "Buy" button disappears on the games only on the UK site. That's a shame.

maycett: Strange, I've bought games from the uk store before with no problems. Maybe some games are region restricted.
Seems like.

ne_zavarj: Telltale's Almost Everything Pack is tempting , but is Jurrasic Park The Game that terrible ? I would like to play it with mous + keyboard .
Let me tell you a little some about that pack. Yes, it's an incredible deal and worth every penny. However, at this time; as far as I know you can only gift TWD. And this has to be done through support. So, don't pick it up thinking you'll be able to gift the other games cause at this point in time you won't. I am still waiting for a response from them about when normal gifting will open back up. There are also not any Steam keys in that pack. If you can live with that then I highly recommend it.

I could play the same on a PC, along with other tasks, with or without a ps2 controller. :\

(BTW I also have a ps2 but sometimes I like to game at my desk and sometimes I like to do so on the PC.)

I can live without that .

and 10.19 in the uk eesh we're getting hit on this one...
It is certainly worth 10 bucks! Not a bad game, but short and the difficulty kind of uneven. Fun while it lasts, though.

Certainly a nice price. Not my type of game though I think >.<

The price difference is why I will miss THQ if they go under. One of the few publishers that actually have EU favorable prices :)

Serious Sam 3: BFE is 66% off until the 1st of May.
Serious Sam 3 BFE is 66% off on Steam celebrating the release of the Mac port.
Also, 10% off on the King's Bounty games on Steam since they are now Steamplay titles (which means that they now have mac support? I guess)

Amazon's got a better deal. King's Bounty Platinum for 5 bucks, and that also nets one a 5 bucks credit for one of the 1c titles available there. Not as good as the "all 1C titles for 20 bucks" from gamersgate last week, but it is still a pretty good deal.

Funny . No discount for Harvest: Massive Encounter . I thought it will be on sale , since it's now available on Mac
I'm thinking about finally giving the Mass Effect series a go.
The first one is a tenner on Steam and the sequel is 15 quid.

Any way of getting it cheaper?
