Hell of a deal. Totally worth it even if the remixed mode's graphics in MI1 suck. MI2 is just great, though.

Psyringe: Well, it was 4$ on 4/Dec/2011 ... but I kind of agree, it's still a decent offer. :)
I grabbed it for that price too. Impulse purchase. Haha.
Steam DD:
Monkey Island: Special Edition Bundle $5.09
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6183/

Can someone tell me how is this bundle related to the Tales of Monkey Island Complete Pack
http://store.steampowered.com/app/31170/ ?
I mean is that bundle a part of the complete pack or are they two completely separate items? I just don't want to buy it again when Complete Pack is on sale.

They're unrelated. The stuff on sale are remakes of the original games. The tales games are new stories by Telltale and follow the telltale format of 5 or 6 episodes.

The two packs are completely unrelated. The Monkey Island Special Edition bundle contains remakes of Monkey Island 1+2 made by LucasArts.

Tales of Monkey Island is an episodic sequel to the Monkey Island series (unofficially "Monkey Island 5") made by Telltale Games. The complete pack bundles all five episodes of that game.

For those contemplating JA2: BIA , looks like there's a patch coming this month which will be putting in some much requested stuff like better militia control, sector inventory, tactical mode (fog of war without the fog), drag and drop item management, border scrolling etc. Good stuff :D

I just noticed buying Just Cause 2 and every DLC separately on GamersGate is 25 cents cheaper than buying the Complete Edition.

I was just feeling happy I hadn't bought anything on Steam for a while.
I hate you -_-

orcishgamer: "Even Daikatana"? I'm surprised anyone would buy this game at all. Playing it is out of the question unless you're being paid to play it:)
avatar
Fred_DM: you know, you're not qualified to talk about the game's qualities (or lack thereof) unless you've actually played it.

considering this game is still talked about today, i figure it's well worth it, if only for historical reasons.
Can I pretty please talk about meth and neo-nazism without having "tried" them? Your argument qualifies as a logical fallacy.
I bought Dookietana with bc on GG. Does this still make me John Romero's bitch? Or is that just the people that bought it when it first released?

FiatLux: Pretty hard to trouble shhot anything without any real information......
Perhaps you should make a forum thread and include a lot mor information......

grviper: Not it's simply the ancient Setup refusing to draw an actual window regardless of compatibility settings under XP. Might be reboot-curable.

Yay, I'm not the only one. http://rome.ro/smf/index.php?topic=4751.0
Interesting. That ancient installer via original disc over the years has worked on 98, XP, Vista and 7 without a single issue for me.
