BoxOfSnoo: Got my DroidAssault registration working. So some points back on PuppyGames' account. Still very unpleasant DRM.

Dunno if you saw this, but they had a ridiculous amount of issues yesterday. For what it's worth, they seem to be very sorry the promotion didn't work out as they'd hoped.

The fact that people were generating hundreds of keys for free kind of disgusts me.

I'll be honest, I don't actually like their games all that much, but I feel for them. They were being awesome and it'd be really hard to be that gracious after the internet treated you like that. Good for them for keeping loyal to their actual fans. Shame on the dicks ruining stuff like this for everyone on a daily basis.

ne_zavarj: Hmm. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition pre - order 39.99 €

grviper: They've done 2.0, now it's Enhanced... Next year it could be Witcher 2 Augmented Katy Perry Edition.
Geralt and Katy Perry doing The Naughty Witcher Dance? I like how your mind works, good sir!

gyokzoli: Dive to the Titanic

Would it be Steam's daily deal? Nevertheless looks interesting.

ABH20: Daily Deal is Hydrophobia: Prophecy at 75% off.
Since it's all but free you can't go to wrong, but fair warning, I thought the game was kind fo sloppy and had sloppy gunplay (which is opinion), the best weapon is your starting gun (arguably not opinion), and the game ends on a big cliffhanger (fact) while there is unlikely to be a sequel (probably fact).

I was never able to get to the order page. That being said; I thought what they were trying to do was very cool. Maybe next time.

It's unfortunate that when people extend generosity like this to the masses, inevitably there are those who are greedy and will try to fuck over the system for their own selfish purposes. Ah, well human nature as it is and such...

Agreed.

Yeah though the issue I was having was unrelated to any of those. I am glad he's creating a FAQ, that's the best way to handle this. Maybe he'll auto-mail it to everyone that mailed for support.

He covered that he would be emailing a link to the FAQ in the FAQ:)
Daily Deal on GamersGate Ubisoft promo week:

R.U.S.E.: The Art of Deception 75% off
Through the post of "ne_zavarj" I have seen that they sell "Amnesia: The Dark Descent" at Desura.
But when I looked at the "about" at Desura then I do not think that it really says anything about their concept.
I only know of Desura from that they give keys to Desura when buying "indie bundles" but have never tried it...
I might have looked at the wrong place but I am not sure if one needs their client (http://www.desura.com/install) or if one can actually just download the games and if they are DRM free or if Desura are "just another DRM Download manager client concept" company... (?)

ZPavelZ: Big Fish Games "Awakening: The Dreamless Castle" free

Just go to big fish games, put it in your cart, add the code MOBFREEAWAKENING and it's free.

http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/7382/awakening-the-dreamless-castle/index.html

Also works with Mac version.

Worked for me perfectly well. :)
Thank you ! - worked like a charm :)

Hmm.. Doesn't say if it includes the DLC's so it probably does not - also it's a "Steam'er" (Steamworks , Requires a 3rd party download and account) (I already have it on Steam)
But thanks the same....

You need the client to download the majority of the games there, although they're trying to get more direct download installers for the games they sell. That's it, you don't need the client running to play any of the games. Desura are also behind the Indie Royale bundles.

Thank you ! , so I gather that one can't use the downloader at Desura as the GOG.com one where we can download and save for later (re-)installation , and that client acts like some sort of DRM control apparatus(?).....

P.S.
I suddenly understand why a lot of people are very reluctant just by the thought of an OPTIONAL GOG Client like I wished for :

New on Steam and therefore 25% off, €4.49:

Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP,
http://store.steampowered.com/app/204060/

one of the moodiest game experiences since... maybe Aquaria or Another World. But don´t expect something similar!

If you have no iPad to play, this is your chance.
