ABH20: WARNING: STEAM CAN'T MAKE UP ITS FUCKING MIND!

As I already mentioned, on the From Holland With Love Pack page it states: "If you already own one of the titles in this pack, you will receive an extra copy of that game to give to a friend!"

Yet when I add it my cart and go to the checkout it tells me "Note: You already own the following items in "From Holland With Love Pack". You will not receive extra copies of these items when you complete this purchase" and lists the games I already own!
Uhm what the note generally says is more along the lines of "UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, you will not receive extra copies..."

abolat: how is sniper elite?
Personally I think that it is a reasonably OK game , a bit "old" ofcourse (which I think shows) , But hey I also liked "Sniper:Ghost Warrior" which many complains about.....
I think that Sniper Elite is worth trying for only $2.5 , but mind you : peoples perception of if a game is worth playing is very highly subjective...

P.S.
As far as I remember then "Sniper Elite" sort of "punish" you if you save the game too often - I am sorry I can not remember what it is that you "loose" by doing so....

Russian version had to be re-written in localization for obvious reasons :)

Yeah! , sometimes things look a little different when looking from the "other site of the fence" ;-)
I mostly had a more "nuanced view" on all these things than most people I think.... ;-)
(But hey! , at least we do not have "an iron curtain" anymore - as far as I understand it..)

The IndieFort Bundle No. 1 is available for 3 more days. This extension means that the "secret" bonus will probably be unlocked. Personally I'm hoping for "Tomes of Mephistopheles", but we'll see. :)

Also in the News: GamersGate support confirms in a recent tweet that the discount for the 1C Complete Pack is no mistake. I actually bought it again now (I already had it since December) because I like the idea of having 80+ games to give away to fellow gamers. :)

Regarding "Mount & Blade": Note that there isn't really a reason to play the original game if you also have "Warband", as "Warband" basically _is_ the basegame plus a few additions. However, as the prices are, by buying the complete collection you pay the same as for "Warband" and "Fire and Sword", so you'd basically get the original game for free (or you even get a some more blue coins back, since you'll have two more items to rate and/or review).
There are actually a couple fantastic mods that are vanilla game only that are probably a decent enough reason to spring for the collection.

Ah, right - I hadn't paid attention to the mod situation. Thanks for rectifying this!

Thanks for the Twitter link... I normally don't ever go to Twitter but I checked out your link anyway...
I coincidentally found at least 3 GG pictures that I think were so "funny" that I would link to them here... :

The new Spiderweb Software game Avernum: Escape from the Pit is £5.56 on GG right now. Same on , but GG version is DRM free for those who care about it. [url=http://www.spiderwebsoftware.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=1&Category_Code=Avernum_Games]Buying it directly from the developer still is $20.00.

Yes , but the offer at GamesGate is only %20 off the GamersGate standard price for the game..
So the saving on the game at GamersGate right now seems to be only 20% .

Yes , that picture *really* puts a smile on my face too :-) , as you write : "ridiciously funny" , and I think that it is even more funny that the guys is at work (in a game seller company) and that hey have the great sense of humor, and self ironi, to publish the picture in the first place...

P.S.
Sorry "ZPavelZ" , I am not sure how I could possibly "Ninja" your latest post , but if I could then I would :P ;-)

The strange part is that yesterday it was £9.95 (http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/avernum_escape_from_the_pit_demo/post9) and 20% should be around 7.95. This deal suggest that the standard price will be around £6.70. The same with Steam, which also puts the price as 20% off.
