Mirror's Edge for $10 is great (they should really update the DRM though -- there's a revoke tool for activations). THQ bundle and World of Goo are solid too.

Amazon had it for $37 the other day! I grabbed it then, because that was a great deal (free shipping too). $40 is pretty good though, obviously.

I am willing to pay the full MSRP for select new releases. For example, I will probably pick up Super Mario Galaxy 2 for $50, as soon as it becomes available. It is hard to wait to play certain games!
Otherwise, yes, there is no point in paying $50 for a game you are in no rush to play. Patience does indeed lead to savings.

For those of you who either have never played the original Everquest or just want to get back into it, Steam (I know, I know....) has the Original, all 15 expansion packs, and an exclusive item for only $2.50!!!
