Yeah, I noticed that just as I was about to click on the buy button. Sadly that makes it a no go for me, as GFWL only lets me log in if I get the game from Steam. :(

It's even cheaper in getgamesgo, has been a while at least in euro countries. 2 euros but I hesitate because I don't have any money in my account left and I've read that it has trouble with newer machines as in operating systems and I hate to defend those captured citys or what ever they are.

Ah, I didn't know they still had those offers. I've heard about them being unreliable though, and they screwed up my order too (though they were nice about it and fast to respond).

I've bought there just one game and it was a steam game but the price was right in that game back then. So I occasionally look there.

ya, they have some good prices occasionally, especially for pre-orders.

but the best thing about GetGames is the fact that if you're not from an EU country you get to pay in USD instead of Euros.

Well f**k me and call me mary.. Like that wasn't evil enough that other places do it also. So, still gog is the only fair place but not always the cheapest. But fair is the keyword.

I don't consider it fair being forced to spend the money you *could* have saved on Witcher 2 if the price had been 'fair' on 2 more full price Gog games.

It's better than the alternative of buying in Euro's, obviously, but a fair price would simply have let us pay the same.

*The rest of the catalogue is nice and fair obviously ^^

The prices are different. Jagged alliance 2 gold shows up as $3 for me. So don't get too mad :)

Edit: also, GOG isn't fully fair for me since they decided to price witcher 2 differently by region...

Well the witcher-thingy. Too bad. I got it in pre-order from here. Pretty comical if I think about it. Place where people get together and buy older games and some of us pre-ordered here. Shame that french finally "won" something.
I think it's fair for rest of the games even if I have to pay 20 cents more because of the conversion with paypal.
But if that witcher-stuff spreads, this place is doomed.
Although. It's a good thing that they dropped the weird lawsuits and letters but most of all, I'll get that even more enhanced witcher 2 for free (like everybody else). So that was good news.
but if it has a dice bug even then with controller, it will be devastating. Though, keyboard-controls weren't bad when you got used to those.

Edit: and I know that there wasn't gog involved, I was just merely speaking about cd-projekt and if court decides something it usually is wrong. Let's criminals out because they had crappy childhood and in a same sentence they sentence normal people pay more because we live elsewhere.
