deadfolk: Saint's Row 3 for £15, or £12 if you use the voucher 'pcgamer20', assuming the voucher is still valid. Activates on Steam.
It's region restricted. Wouldn't let me buy if from the USA.
Not 100% game-related, but lots of you folks like 3d junk.

This month (and perhaps afterwards?), Daz3d Pro, Bryce 7 Pro and their 3D modeling software Hexagon 2.5 is free. That's nearly $830 worth of free tools. If you just want to play and have a little fun, you'd enjoy Bryce 7. It's user-friendly enough to tinker with and have fun.

Does it need a previous newsletter subscription to activate the deal? b/c I wasn't logged into my Daz account when I saw the promo.

If it's requesting a newsletter to get the software, then that'll be something you'll want to decide if it's worth it. But if you need a previous newsletter to get the deal, let me know.
The epic gala paypal redirect page keeps hanging on me ;/

Seems, that it's the number of downloads that is limited, not the activations (they work offline).

It may present itself as the best thing in breakout-clones since ever, but it does tend to get repetitive just like the rest of them, despite "physics" it plays like the more average of Ricochet games and never reaches the level of style BreakQuest had.

BTW, does anyone still sell BreakQuest these days?

It has an awesome soundtrack though, that makes it a bit better than average.
Dunno iff this has been posted yet, but:

World of Warcraft Battlechest is 7 EUR / 5 pounds right now. (the original game + the burning crusade expansion + 30 days of playtime)

Great value for those wanting to try it out.

Cataclysm is 15 EUR

Wrath of the Lich King is 10 EUR

= 50% on everything WoW for Europe only, ends on the 19th (I think).

I bought it for 2,5€ and that's well worth the price. I haven't played a breakout clone in ages (literally, the last I can remember was in '89 on the C64). The music is good, the design very stylish and the gameplay solid.

Edit: Wait, the last breakout I played was the installer for Broken Sword!

Good grief, find BreakQuest for PC now.

I think they had the whole deal even cheaper than that for Black Friday, iirc you could get everything for 30 USD. Still, considering that the sub is the lion's share of the cost in this game the difference may be irrelevant to you.

I can't speak to how the endgame works now, but I don't think you can get a reasonable taste of the endgame pvp during the free trial. I guess raiding isn't there either. Umm, play the trial but realize you may want to do other research to figure out if you'll like it long term. Also, I'm sure some servers still suck a lot more than others, they fixed that for pvp back in the day but you're likely still stuck raiding and participating in the economy on a server by server basis. Blizzard will sell you a server transfer if you pick "poorly" but they used to cap how much shiznit you could take with you (at least gold). Also, it's per character so if you have 3 alts you want to take it gets expensive. Best to find a good server to start with.
