Protoss: They say that their client is required for download, is it also required to play like steam and origin or its just a download manager?
It's like steam as opposed to Gamers Gate.

I only have a few games on Impulse but the 9.99 price is enough to tempt me to add that collection.

Fred_DM: base price has always been $39.99. if it was lower then it was already discounted.

discounts don't stack. if they're discounting it by 66% they'll do so off the base price, not the already reduced $29.99 discount price.
The base price was definitely $30 the other day without any percentage discount markings on the page. Whether or not they display the actual discounts is another question.

It came with an Activation Key, which I presume must be an Origin key.
