ne_zavarj: off topic ( again :p )

Which one is worth more ( gameplay ) ?

Worms United
or
Worms Reloaded
Worms Armageddon >= Worms World Party > Worms 2 >>> Worms United > Worms > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Worms Reloaded.

I would easily place any Worms spinoff above Worms Reloaded, possibly the 3D games as well. At least they were original and rather fun. Worms Reloaded managed to be both derivative and not all that fun, since every attempt at playing it made me wish I was playing any other game in the series.

Personally, I'd wait for Armageddon to show up here, but Worms United has a certain charm that separates it from all the other games since Worms 2. Some might argue that Worms Reloaded isn't as bad as I make it out to be, and maybe it isn't, but far fewer would argue that Worms Armageddon is the high point of the series. If you only plan to buy one of them, it should definitely be that one.

Worms World Party is almost identical to Armageddon. It provides a few minor additions, and served to do little more than milk a bit more sales and split the community. 95% of people just stuck with Armageddon, so not too much harm done. Technically, it could be called the better game, since it's essentially Armageddon with more stuff, but if you have any interest in playing people over the internet, I wouldn't bother. On that note, it'd be nice if GOG sold the both of them together, as I personally think it'd be a bit fool not to. At the very least, I'd expect World Party to be on sale before Armageddon, since the very notion of Armageddon coming to GOG in the future is already enough to cannibalize World Party's sales.

muddysneakers: Is $11.99 a good deal for the Dragon Age bundle?
avatar
orcishgamer: If you want to play the games it's the first one, plus all DLC, and the second one (sans DLC I think) which is a lot of gameplay. Obviously DA2 got panned pretty hard but I think they've patched out some of the shittiness. I don't see that crap ever getting a lot cheaper, though if you waited a year or two you might get DA2's DLC thrown in with the bundle.
DA2 comes with Black Emporium but not the other DLCs.
Btw the 11.99 deal is live now, 6.99 if you have the 5 off coupon.

Cities in Motion pack is 66% off at GamersGate, showing £10.18 for me.

Has anyone tried it? Is it worth the price?
Just wondering, for anyone who has installed the Amazon version of Dragon Age 2, does the base game require an Origin account and/or online activation?

You don't need Origin, but you can add it. I don't know if you need to activate it once. AFAIK, you need a Bioware account for the DLC.

No. Nothing before the release of Battlefield 3 requires Origin.

Think that was it as well, although that's the same as EA/origin account now I think, from what I remember the last time logging into Dragon Age.

I don't think you *have* to activate/login to your account, but without it you won't have any dlc/order-bonuses available to you.

That said, it's been ages since I played, but I think it was possible to play without logging in, but I can't guarantee you wouldn't have had to do it at least once.
From looking at other digital retailers, everything points to Origin account (but not client) required. Gamersgate says "Other DRM", Greenmangaming says Origin is required to activate, Impulse says DRM is EA Access (requires logging into Origin to play http://forums.steamgames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=24793062&postcount=95). I can't see why Amazon would be exempt from this, but their product page doesn't mention it, even though their pages for some other EA games clearly state if account/activation is required. Puzzling. Thanks for your replies. If anyone's specifically installed the Amazon version of DA2, let me know what your experience was.

orcishgamer: Anyway, it's just an opinion, do what you like, I saw far better games coming up on that list of sales. Though it's not a matter of price, rather time spent on mediocre quality gaming.

dyscode: That is a point to be considered for sure. One does not work hard hours just be bored as reward?, never.

But still Enjoyed Alice: MR immensly as I did the first Alice.
The controls and the battles, though a bit simple, I find really satisfying. It`s nearly like some beat em up game.
oO there was a first Alice?

It's called American Mcgee's Alice, and I've heard from a lot of people that it's better than Alice MR.

Edit: Link :)

Yeah, the original Alice was ehh.. tighter? Well, the game didn't stretch each section for a hour and switched the rules and the visuals quite often. No endless vent platforming, that's for sure.

you need to activate the game through EA. Not sure if that has to be through origin, as amazon has its own downloader and you can download the whole game through the amazon web-site.
It's a shame that EA only offered the original Alice as a bonus for buying Alice MR on PC through May. I bought it well after that, but I would have gladly payed 10 dollars for the original Alice. I'm sure other people would have as well; bad move EA, bad move.

Oo ... the cheapest is $35?! wow! either the game is really good or it is rare.

Both, from what I've heard.
