How about multiplayer community? Still alive? Especially the Last Stand mode.

Game is dead on consoles so I would guess no one plays it on pc. Dissapointingtitle for my favrite wanzer games series.

No idea. I don't play multiplayer in most games as I can't stand playing with whiny little kids - I want to do that, I'll play with my own.

It's even worse. They lure you in with an advertisement about a "FREE" game (capitals by them) on the main page - and when you actually click on it, you're told that it's actually just an advertising contest with a limited number of winners. 50 people will get the game for free, and all the others will have provided Game getter free advertising while getting absolutely nothing in return.

I understand more and more why Game Getter is so reviled.

Several of us here do not like that site. They came here and spammed me, then there's the whole shadiness about how they operate.

They just added Anno 2070 to the Amazon downloads coupon page. Weird looking game, dunno if it's good, but I think it just came out. If you still have several of those coupons you can stack them and score it for pretty cheap.

It's a sci-fi economy / city builder sim, gameplay is based on the medieval Anno series (aka 1603 A.D., Dawn of Discovery, etc.). I haven't played it myself yet, but it received a lot of praise (and not only from the official "reviewers" either). The Anno series is generally considered to have very solid gameplay, it's probably one of the most successful German gaming franchises. Anno 2070 is a departure from the usual medieval theme, but even though the fans still seem to like it, which means that the devs must have done something right (changing a well-loved core element of the game and still getting praise from the fans is very hard to do).

I do not believe you can stack those coupons... though I have not tried it, only read that someplace. It would be nice to be able to do that.

I just tried to "stack" 2 of my promotion email coupons and it's a no go. It took the first one for $5 and then attempting the 2nd code, I received an error message in RED saying the coupon was not accepted and to check the verbiage in the promotion email. Sure enough, the promotion email says "Qualifying codes for this promotion may only be used one at a time." Never hurts to try. I hope the code that I used the first time, that was "accepted" but after ultimately cancelling the order, is still good to use.
