gyokzoli: Intel has started its own Steam like client (yes, you read it right, Intel) called Intell AppUp. They give Angry Birds Rio and Chicken Invaders 4 for free for a limited time, only a registration is needed (both for PC).

This is the interesting part:

24 Hours Return Policy
You don't love it?
You don't pay for it.

All apps guaranteed within 24 hours of purchase. All the apps you love, or a full refund.
That assumes you have an internet connection that can download the app within 24 hours, that you're going to download and try it within 24 hours, and that the cost of downloading the game isn't comparable to the cost of the game itself.

I'd say they are banking on the fact that most people won't even try out their purchases within 24 hours, and they are probably right.

Not everybody goes on a buying binge like you do ;-P.

On second thought, I also haven't even started most of my chrismas games.

But if you only buy games when you want to play them, you'd end up spending vastly more in the long run because the game you want to play probably won't be on sale at the exact time that you plan to play it.

maycett: Looks like gamersgate is sneakily raising prices again :(
They've been having issues with their product feed resulting in the SRP for Australia being used in all regions. That's apparently why some products are showing up as 50% off, etc., even when at normal SRP for other regions. If you mention it to them on Twitter, chances are they'll fix the pricing error fairly quickly.

I live in Australia. I don't think the price fluctuation is region related...or at least I hope not.

Metro 2033 is usually on sale for around $5 on steam, amazon and gamersgate (and quite often, might I add) so this is not a very good deal. Still if anyone is looking to get the game now then it is a good deal. I would rather wait though as the game has no mp anyway...

Do i see right that he fights with an arrow in his head ??

"I used to catch the arrows with my knee, but then I took an arrow to the head."

It's a known problem with the game. Projectiles get stuck in your body (which is working as designed), but they are supposed to be deleted after some time ... sometimes the game doesn't do this.
