But it's just a disc check. And unlike starforce it doesn't require 97 restarts to get that shit working. I don't like activation limits or the malicious malware that various uses of secuROM have, but when it's just a benign disk check, I've got no problem.
But it doesn't specify what it does. It could mean activation limits. It could mean anything. SecuROM's implementation is far from universally similar.

The Club is a very good game if you know what you're playing. So as long as you know you're not playing a shooter but an arcade you will be Ok.

At the last minute I decided against The Club. Not sure why. I bought Medieval 2 Gold (9.99! Its about 30 on Steam.) and Outrun. Used the saved cash to buy MDK2 & Stonekeep in GOG's interplay deal. 2 for the price of one is too good to resist. Also had just enough to buy M&M 6 LE.

I bought Billy Hatcher and Medieval 2.
Unfortunately, when I try to install Billy Hatcher, it gives me a weird error, "error 6" and unfortunately the website's suggestions haven't helped at all.
Oh well, I'll get it worked out eventually.

There seems to be some problems with older Sega PC ports. I bought Sonic Mega Collection Plus a few weeks ago and despite it detecting it ok it refuses to work properly with my 360 pad which is a crying shame. I decided against Billy Hatcher in the end as I already have it on the Gamecube. Keep trying to get it working though because if you havent played it you are in for a treat. A bizzare and bonkers treat. I would love to know what Yuji Naka was smoking when he designed that game.

I'd been meaning to pick up Medieval 2 for a while now, so I definitely took advantage of the 50% off sale.

Nah, I've bought around 25 games from GG over time. Besides, I suspect that once it was shipped to Canada, the price would climb a bit. :) Thanks, though.
