ne_zavarj: As i mentioned earlier . That website is a groupon clone . Tried it , not liked it .
I've never tried groupon, but I'll take your word for it. This is the first time they've done a "gotta get people to sign up stuff" that I know of and really, that can only work for a little bit before you can't invite anyone else. They also have a giveaway based on invites, but invites only work if you give the link to THAT giveaway, which is kind of dumb.

For the others deals I just went in, grabbed the offer, and all was good. I don't like giving CC info to any website (only buy through GOG), so I've only done the 100% off deals which just require a share, which I just let go on Facebook because I don't care.
I see .

Other : No more great daily deals on Amazon and GamersGate ?

I'm trying to ignore Gamer's Gate now that they won't take my debit card anymore. Just got another bunch of stuff from getgamesgo, including Borderlands for $3.99

I wanted to buy both Serious Sam HD from them , but they aren't accepting PayPal for those games .

I'll check and see if they have a method of gifting games. If they do, i'll be happy to buy you the games in exchange for blue coins on GG :)

Edit: I looked and there doesn't seem to be a way of gifting games there. Let me know if you see a way.

Are the SS games even on GamersGate now? They aren't showing in either search or the product feed.

Scratch that, I guess you're talking about GetGamesGo?

As it is, the SS games are almost certainly getting a Steam daily deal, so you might want to wait for that and if the USD price is cheaper, have someone gift them to you.

The ones he wants are $2.99 each on getgamesgo at the moment :)
Ha, you guys think any of these sites even compare to the quality of the Impulse sales? Amazon, Steam, and Gamersgate fail by comparison.
Incidentally, here is my King Arthur link. But its a pyramid scheme but that would be "illegal" and "immoral"

I was about to say I don't think impulse will let me buy games, but I noticed that it's actually displaying stuff in local currency, which I've never seen before on any website, ever. However, when I click on most of the games, they tell me they aren't available in my region.

Would I need to be online to play games from impulse, or is it an install the game and you're good to go kinda deal?

On another note, it's pretty trippy seeing things in local money - 241639 Riel for Skyrim (which says it isn't available here anyway).

Edit: and actually no, the deals on Impulse don't look anymore impressive than those on GG and getgamesgo. Deus Ex: Human Revolution for example is still vastly cheaper on getgamesgo.

Err, sorry, I didn't think I would be taken seriously, but Impulse loves to flip the bird to non-Americans so they tend to display the game on the store in local currency but refuse to sell it. They have a great DRM scheme, that is, they only require Impulse to download and update games, you can run games without Impulse running. If you live in America, Impulse is a fine Steam alternative, everywhere else, stick with Steam or Gamersgate.

Edit: Sorry if it wasn't clear that I was sarcastically speaking to the fact that Gamestop/Impulse say they want to be the "Steam-killer" but aren't even trying.

Ah, ok. Well, Steam won't let me do anything here either, and gamer's gate won't let me pay anymore, so looks like I'm down to just gog and getgamesgo (and the games I already have from GG).
EDIT: Removed Game Getter crap.

Looks like they changed it so that there will only be 100 copies given away. They were wanting publicity and then changed the rules... yeah, nice.

adambiser: It appears that they recently changed their policy and if this is the way they're going to be, this will be my last attempt and I'll probably stop using the site.

For anyone interested in helping, I need only 1 more person to use this invite link:

Thanks!

I did like it when they first started out and had $2 Sanctum Steam keys, I traded so many of those for stuff like Bastion and Dead Island.
Gotta love dat free Modern Warfare 3 though. (5 copies only)
