I really don't know what i did to get it. I purchased the game, and I got a message saying I got $2.03 off for some holiday promo and it showed the price at $7.96, but I only glanced at the page so I don't know exactly what it said. I was actually worried that the whole price of the game was a mistake, so I just tried to hurry up and finish purchasing my game before they changed the price

2K games stopped selling any games on my country. I now have to recur to either gamersgate or US friends to get those games.

Today's Deal of the Day at GamersGate is the RTS Men of War: Vietnam, for 75% off. You could also get the Special Edition with some bonus content for slightly more money (it's 75% off as well).
Today's EA Special is Dragon Age 2 for 50% off.
Interestingly, both are games that have been criticized for not improving much over their predecessors. But for the cheap price, there may be an opportunity today to check them out for the people who held back so far (or who don't own the earlier titles).

orcishgamer: Yeah replaying once as a pacifist and once as a murderous asshole is probably worth it.
orcishgamer: There's only The Missing Link and I don't think you probably need it. The augmented edition comes with some sort of lockpick tool, which isn't really necessary if you plan to take any computer hacking at all. I don't know that it comes with anything else at all worthwhile to the game. I'd get the regular edition, play it, and then decide if you want the DLC some day (for 10 bucks I don't want it).
The Missing Link DLC is on sale at gamersgate for $5.09 right now.orcishgamer: There's only The Missing Link and I don't think you probably need it. I'd start with Jagged Alliance 1, which you can buy either from for 2.50 or on [url=http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-JA/jagged-alliance]GamersGate for 1.00 - personally I'd buy it on GOG since that would also support a strictly DRM-free distributor. Jagged Alliance 2 picks some elements from 1 up, but you could start with that one as well. I wouldn't recommend Wildfire unless you're well acquainted with one of the earlier games, Wildfire is basically a mod that caters to hardcore Jagged ALliance players and makes the game incredibly hard. "Deadly Games" is a spin-off product that I haven't played yet.

I only just discovered (by accident) that GG is also doing 4 games for the price of 3, which includes games that are already on sale. Everyone except me probably already knew that, but thought I'd mention it just in case.

I just bought the The Void for a mere 1.75$ from GG. I fiercely suggest this game. Very original and atmospheric.

I could get it with blue coins (propably) but I was thinking investing a bit in missing link but that's just an dlc versus some whole new game. But there are days left to ponder that.

A word of caution: Men of War Vietnam is INCREDIBLY low on content. Only 10 singleplayer maps in regular, or 15 missions in special edition, very few usable vehicles(4 tanks 2 APCs and and 3-4 trucks - I mean, vanilla MoW had what, 100 vehicles? More? :O), very few unit types, frustrating singleplayer(game makes rely on stealth but it just doesnt work in the game, the the foliage blocks your sight but the enemy can see you just fine) a totally dead multiplayer part, non existent modding community, etc On the other hand vanilla Men of War and Red Tide both have good and beefy singleplayer(30-30 missions or more), vanilla MoW has an active multiplayer community, boatload of mods and maps, Red Tide has is singplayer only, but the missions are fun and diverse.
Assault Squad has the best multiplayer experience of any * of War game, polished game mechanics, improved graphics, lots of mods and maps, active english speaking community(vMoW mostly has russians, lotsarussians :D) very good coop feature(sadly singleplayer is lacking, its just coop maps alone), all together the one to get to play with other people, and vMoW and Red Tide for singleplayer.
So basically any other MoW game is a better pick than that frustrating and lacking Vietnam thing thet flopped badly, and even 7,5 euros for it is a ripoff.
