MoP: Does anybody know if The Abbey sold at DotEmu is the "Director's Cut" version?
This was discussed earlier in this thread, when The Abbey was on daily sale. IIRC it's not the Director's Cut, but perhaps check some pages back for the actual answer.

Ah, sorry for the spammage then, and thanks!
Edit: You were indeed right, it's the original version.

It'll probably be five (or $6.79 like in the Autumn sale) next week on Steam.

That's crazy talk. Gearbox games are always on sale on steam.

Vatiel: That 'Other DRM' is Origin or they just hid BioWare Social there? :P
Noticed nobody responded: That is indeed just Bioware Social. You can optionally register the Dragon Age series with Origin, but the game itself only requires Bioware Social for the purposes of DLC.
Looks like GetGames are getting in on the indie bundle thing:

This week we have something a wee bit different.

littleBIGbunch is a collection of five indie games where you get to decide how much to pay and then from your money how much goes to the developers and how much goes to the charity GamesAid.

Frozen Synapse, Explodemon, Serious Sam Double D, New Star Soccer and Munch's Odyssey make up the collection so you have the chance to get some cracking games and also help out a really good cause. Why, it's like being kissed by an Angel and finding money in a coat pocket you forgot you had.

littleBIGbunch will be running until the 2nd of January or we sell out and it would be super cool to sell out. Anyway, enough of the hard sell.

Have a great weekend. We will be back in your inbox next week with news of our A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Christmas type offers.

All the best,
Get Games

Thanks! But Origin is buggy as always :P Better stick to GG.

PS. Two weeks and new Magicka DLCs are already -75%. Never buy anything with full price :)
Magicka -75%

http://uk.gamesplanet.com/

is having a 20% OFF sale site wide. This is not so much as such but considering that is one of the last service that sells Steam Keys for Prey and that for GBP 3.99.

ne_zavarj: Dead Space 2 will be 5€ on Origin on the 19th .
Battlefield Bad Company 2 will be 5€ on Origin on the 21st .
One word of advise for all considering buying over EAs Origin, think about using one of the payment services instead of using your credit card - Billings not safe!

It's like the are actively trying to fail. Unbelievable.

I wouldn't start believing 2 posts from 2 random people without any proof. AFAIK they use SSL for the checkout process like Steam, D2D, and GOG.com do.

Which is why I didn't went the "don't buy at all" road, but took the "consider" and "payment services" - I can't nor do I see any confirmation.
