Cryostasis for $2

Battlestations Pacific for $3.49

http://www.getgamesgo.com/product/battlestations-midway

Battlestations Midway for $3.49.

Anyone got played/or bought any of the above?.
What kinda drm does Getgames use? (have only bought one game from them before - but it was steamworks game)
cryostasis is nice piece of horror game. Battlestation - I have played only demo on xbox and its not for me.

As for the getgamesgo they have theirdownload aplication ( you download one file and login to your account and then download rest of the game- this is experience I had).
Exactly as danteveli said, some games just need your GGG username and pw to unlock (limit 3 activatipns, more when u contact support), rest of them need cdkey and even Tages (Ubi games)

grynn: Anomaly Warzone Earth is $3 at GG.

And Need for Speed SHIFT 2 Unleashed is £10 as the EA special.
I got Anomaly Warzone Earth, looks interesting enough to be worth the $3 to give it a try. But I noticed that NFS says "UK" at the end of it, as do most other EA games on GG. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does that mean they can only be purchased and downloaded in the UK?

I had no trouble month ago buying "Theater of War: Korea" from the UK store. It was on sale less than a buck and I used my blue coins... The US store was still full price, so I figured it made a good test as I would only be out about a buck. I have no idea though if there was some sort of bug that allowed this, or it was publisher dependent... so try at your own risk.

wodmarach: My American cousin was horrified by the idea of VAT until I gently pointed out it was just sales tax and it didn't apply to many things* unlike her states one...

*Suprisingly little is actually VAT payable for individuals
avatar
orcishgamer: Lol, yeah, I'd prefer VAT anyway, if only to avoid everything ending in .98 or .99 cents.
Most stuff here is still priced ending in 99p, also not sure what Woodmarach is on about, we pay VAT on just about everything except I think basic food (bread, milk etc)
Is anyone have a 10€ birthday coupon code for the EU store of Origin ?

You can buy and download UK store specials from anywhere, it must have something do to with EA's restrictions. Green Man Gaming is also selling EA games only on their co.uk address with £.

Thats list looks like "just about everything" to me, granted It looks like I was a bit stingy on my list of what constitutes basic foods.

As for if I'm ever charged vat on said basic food's I can't say as I've ever paid enough attention to a reciept to notice such things, but then seen as I live at home with parents most stuff in that catagory is bought in the family shopping.

This is really good to know, as I got the opposite advice on GG's "game tutor" thing, but no one there actually seemed certain.

Thanks for the info, now I can go get the Dead Space Complete Set :)

EDIT: I only just noticed that EA specials takes you to a .co.uk url, when I search for the games on the main site they aren't there, but I only seem to need the 1 account to be able to use both domains.

It's nowhere near "just about everything" tbh it's luxuries (eating out, confections etc) plus a couple of things that should be considered essentials but the law hasn't been altered since the items were set down hence why gas/electricity/petrol are taxed. I still think certifiable work clothes should be exempt the same as uniforms are...

lowyhong: Rhea Shelley, a former employee of *sniffle* Origin, is putting up a listing full of vintage games in complete packages for $5-$10. Good if you're residing in the US. Check it out here.

wodmarach: "Paypal, is also an option, yet, you MUST do and Instant Transfer, and/or send money as GIFT.
Otherwise, they charge me an additional 4% to collect my money. This is unacceptable. If you want to pay that way and feel more secure,
then the price will be the total, PLUS 4% additional fee to offset those charges."

Looks like she may get delisted as this breaks the Ebay rules (or it did a couple of months ago when someone I know said similar)
Hah one of his listings just got delisted. I wonder if the rest of them will too.

I had no problems buying, downloading, registering, and playing this game from Germany, so it's not UK only (as others have akready said on a more general level, but I wanted to give a confirmation that the info is correct specifically for the game you asked about).
Steam Wishlist Daily - Dead Island 19.99

Or at least thats what it looked like before the page got borked and went back to Shogun 2 lol
