summitus: Why is it a boring weekend for you ?
avatar
ne_zavarj: I can't find any digital game download offer that interest me .
I guess I can relate to that , sometimes I get really dissapointed if I've waited all week to see what weekend deals there are on differents sites and there is nothing good or games I already have :)

I'm guessing you do have a pretty huge backlog though ?

StonerMk2: Wish i would have taken advantage of that Bastion sale...kicking myself in the ass right now lol
Ahh don't yourself up over it. I'm sure it will be in the christmas dailys, not to mention it may well be on sale at GamersGate and you can pick it up DRM free there.

El_Caz: So the fun is in the buying and not the playing? :)
avatar
ne_zavarj: Yes . ( in this case )
Do what I do: lurk on eBay and just camp out for "lot pc games" until a good deal comes your way. I almost managed to snag a copy of Anachronox and some other games at less than $20 this way, but some yahoo outbid me at the last minute.

Btw you guys probably already know LIMBO is on sale. I double recommend this. It's $2.50 for one of the best platformers to have been released on PC recently.

This is kinda sucky thing to ask but with Christmas coming and GOG secret Santa coming I want to save my money for my friends/family/random GOGer but there is one thing I would really want...Cave Story+ on steam.

So if there is any GOGer who is feeling Christmasy could he please gift it for me on steam and I will pay back him in month/month and an half tops?I can pay back on PayPal, in GOGs or any other way he/she wants. Also sorry if this doesnt belong here but I dont want to create thread just for this thing :(

Thanks a ton :)
Amazon has Saint's Row 3 for $10 off... $40. I went ahead and got it... they show you the key right when you pay, so just plug that into Steam and off you go.
What is the DRM like on these getgamesgo games?

So you found the DLC situation acceptable vs. the amount of game content?

amok: I just realised that you can get Defense Grid + all DLC (4 map packs + You Monster) for £5.99 on Steam right now.

Considering that You Monster is £3.99, you get the base game and the other DLC's for £2. I think it is a very good deal. If you like Tower Defence games, it do not get much better then this.
I haven't played the new DLC but the game itself rocks.

From what I have read the base game is easily 40+ hours... I don't need any more than that for $40.

Well, I guess you get 40 hours AND giant, purple dildo bats, sounds like a pretty good deal.

LIMBO suked... even though bought on sale $2.5....

I seem to have a different value perspective than a lot of others with video games. In my opinion a 2 hour bluray costs $20 or more, so a video game costing $50 is not a bad value for me even if it only lasts 8-10 hours. Games like Skyrim are a fucking steal, I would pay $100 or more for them.

That said, just because of sheer quantity I try to wait for sales on games I'm not super eager to play.

i keep seeing rave reviews about this game, but after looking at the screen shots, i decided to pass. i just dont think i will like it, but if it shows up in one of the indie bundles, then i dont mind trying it out for cheap.
