Heretic777: Santa came early. Instant buy X SuperBox. My number one wishlist came true, awesome.
Just in case you didn't know yet: owning the X SuperBox means you also get Albion Prelude, which is coming out in a few days, for free. Good timing ;)

What kind of protection does Medieval II: Total Warfare have?

nijuu: Amazon Digital :

How does this service work? Can u redownload them over and over once purchased?
They used to require a client WHILE DOWNLOADING. The last 2 games I bought just had you dl a little downloader just for that game - you could delete it afterwards.
You can dl over and over again.

There's no amazon DRM - there might be DRM from the publisher. You can usually find out from reading the products page or from searching reviews but that's not 100% accurate.

For example. I got Dragon Knight saga recently. Reviews said no DRM. There actually was securom but, on the day I bought it, the publisher removed the securom (you had to dl a patch from the publishers site).

Mass Effect 2 had the same DRM you would have if you got it from EA.

Summary - it's a good place for cheap games.
Would someone buy me Dungeon Siege 3 on Amazon digital for a 5.99 USD GOG? It's only 4.99 USD. I only need the product key since it's a Steamworks game. It's only available in the US.

Or I can send the money via PayPal.

ne_zavarj: Dead Island $19.99
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Standard Edition $19.99
Dungeon Siege 3 $4.95
Magicka Collection $3.99
Dungeon Defenders $2.99

These are Steamworks games .
I think the DS3 deal is great if you want to play DS3... heard it was quite mediocre, not sure if its worth your time.

For Dead Island and Deus Ex, I'd wait for the Steam xmas sale, that will have the package deals with DLC that could be better than buying them separately.

It depends on the game. For smaller downloads ("casual" games), it uses their Games & Software Downloader. Larger games use separate downloaders. (Why they do it this way, I have no idea.)

You can also back up the installers, so you wouldn't have to download the game again. Also, they guarantee unlimited installs, so if a key stops working, you can ask for another.

Of course, the person who asked is in Australia, so it's moot anyway.

I get the impression that you only get it free if you have the superbox on Steam. Are you sure you'd get it on Gamersgate too?

Oh gosh, so tempted to get the X Superbox now, but I sort of want to get it on Steam, to be honest, especially since I have $20 in my Steam Wallet there and apparently the Steam requirement can be patched out with official patches.

What's the DRM on the GG version? I ask because GG says DRM-free but I've seen Tages mentioned a few times elsewhere.

Ze official Egosoft patches killed all DRM even on TC a while ago.
