Anyone have anything to say about the game? I love LucasArts adventures so I'm kind of interested.

I just realised that you can get Defense Grid + all DLC (4 map packs + You Monster) for £5.99 on Steam right now.

Considering that You Monster is £3.99, you get the base game and the other DLC's for £2. I think it is a very good deal. If you like Tower Defence games, it do not get much better then this.

Just like Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island the game was "directed" by Bill Tiller. See, he worked on quite a few LucasArts games. As an artist. So you can expect pretty art marred with inconsistent puzzles, or the game breaking its own rules, and also the recycling of jokes and personalities. Main cast of GPoVI was essentially lifted off Day of the Tentacle. I'm going on about that game because I've beaten it, it came right after Vampyre Story and I'm too afraid to touch it.

Damn, I thought it used Steamworks everywhere so I bought it on Steam when it was a daily =/ That's what I get for not doing my research. I haven't even downloaded it. I wish Steam let me gift it like GG would.

My mother, who loved early Sierra and Lucas adventure games and actually got me into PC gaming, liked Vampyre Story a lot. She rarely plays anything anymore but "came out of retirement" for that game, and had a good time. Don't know if that really means anything, but there you go.
