It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

StingingVelvet: It's slower, it has no resume capacity, it can offer greater risk of corruption. Using a program like Internet Download Manager or a firefox plugin can save you a lot of hassles. There is honestly no reason for me to use the GOG downloader, as what I use already is better.

kavazovangel: The speed has nothing to do with downloading through a browser. It also has nothing to do with corruption (corruption happens somewhere in the middle, not as a result of downloading through a browser), since today's browsers are pretty good at checking streams for valid data. If a download gets interrupted, the browser can usually start off from where it left... for example, IE9 keeps the interrupted chunks and you can easily resume the download by pressing the Resume button, once you establish connection (but this mostly depends on how the download server was configured).

(the example is what happened to me a few minutes ago, was downloading ~1GB SQL Server related stuff from Microsoft's servers, my connection died, it came up several minutes later, and the downloading resumed as expected.)
It doesn't always work that way, and sometimes the downloads crash outright and need to be totally redone.

GG is offering X-Superbox 75% off. GG EA is offering NFS Shift for half price.

Luckily I realized that I don't need to re-buy X after getting them on Steam, since the official patches applied to downloaded games eliminate the Steam requirement.

good grief... DotEmu Cossacks pack also installs them all at once. Unraring the installer seems much more convenient now.

DotEmu is flashing us with another deal, 70% off Empire Earth II. Aren't they a few minutes too early?

Damn, forget Origin and GG, Amazon is becoming the major competitor to Steam in digital distribution fast!

If they would only go world wide ...

In fact, I already own both Drakensang games (not the addon); they were among the very few games I bought outside of steam/GOG/GG sales. I just wanted to emphasize that this is a really nice deal, I greatly enjoyed it.
(I'll admit that part of the reason I enjoyed it was the writing and voice acting, though. I hope the English version is just as good)

I bought much more games on Amazon the last few weeks than on Steam. Amazon Deals are just as good as Steam Dailys.

Santa came early. Instant buy X SuperBox. My number one wishlist came true, awesome. Having a very good Xmas 2011 so far. Next on wishlist is the 1C Space Collection on Steam for $10 and then Drakensang Complete for $10.
