God dammit. When Steam had it for $7.50 I asked Gamersgate if they planned to match and they said yes. Then it never happened and I was like WTF? This time I say "well fuck it" and buy on Steam, then they match it. Assholes.

Whatever. It's not like I have a problem downloading a DRM free version elsewhere anyway, now that I bought it.

Not like it makes any difference but GG did match Steam's price that other time because I remember that they had it 50% off for a couple of days and then it reverted back to 33% off. The same thing happened with Orcs must die which was discounted 75% only a couple of days and 50% the rest of the week.

Boy am I glad I missed that last sale where it was on 50% off on Gamersgate. Good price.

Anyone manage to get Wasteland Angel working on a video card less powerful than a GeoForce 8000 series?

GG has the Steam key for $2.50

Metro09: I tried the demo of Bastion when it came out, game was okay but I don't get why people rave over it. Nice art style and music but the game play isn't very compelling. I'll wait to see if it gets lower during the Holiday sale.
I thought the game was pretty linear and the game play was very basic and cliche - I think that the story telling and voice acting of narrator is what's selling it.

The music, too.

Yes, the game is basic, but it's more of a well rounded package than just the gameplay that makes the game worth buying (in my opinion.)

I can tell you right now it won't go any lower in the Holiday sale. This is the first time it's been lowered by 66%, and even that took a lot time to get to.

If you're waiting for a 75% off sale, I'd bet you almost anything you'll be waiting another three months at least. Not that there's anything wrong with waiting, but don't get your hopes up.

Damn it, I was hoping for awesome gameplay as well, especially since my reaction to Limbo was exactly of the type both of you described. Anyway, at some point I'll certainly get it.

The EA special grviper mentioned is awesome. I wonder what it's like without the special? Buy 2, pay 3? :)
