Lol. I ended up purchasing the Amazon version.
No DRM that I can see (not even a serial key), and the download was almost just like on GG: separate downloader <1MB, and when the entire download is done, a 396MB ATDSetup.exe is left, in unencrypted form. Still $2 but US-only.

I have all games from gog, but It's interesting to know if atari use gogs version for other distributions. One of the pictures gamersgate used is from gog, so I highly guess yes. Can you please say something about the installer and maybe take a closer look in the folder if there's something (readme.txt) that hints to gog?
