I've been holding off on getting Portal 2 'cause I want the PS3 version too.... but I may be able to get it second hand for at least that much cheaper...

I know but the discounts are worse than a daily deal on most cases so it isn't worth it to buy now when the Christmas sale is just around the corner. Besides, GG and D2D will have sales too.
DNF will get cheaper eventually and Portal 2 may even become free at one point so I'm in no rush to buy them now.

Unless its an old game that will never go on the daily deals, then you might as well buy it. I'm thinking of buying some Delta Force games for the nostalgia for instance, and I know the old ones will never get a daily deal.

You can still get Russian voice overs from the Gamersgate version as long as you apply the unofficial patches uploaded by the nice folks over at RPGWatch. If you decide to buy it from GG, hit me up and I'll guide you on how to install the thing proper.

Why don't you just wait a few days with that? If it goes on a sale, good. If not, you can just get it at the current price the last day.

i agree, DNF will be a $2.50 game next year and there will probably be a huge Valve Pack special at Xmas with Portal2 included.

I've been eyeing both because of recommendations from GOGers, but I'm inclined to buy from yuplay. But, did they changed the payment options? I recall once having seen USD as payment, now only rupees appear in the list. =/
