Heretic777: just wait 5 years and get the final Complete version for $5.

Delixe: Wow... that's an interesting strategy there. If everyone did that there wouldn't be a games industry in 5 years.
Or better yet they would sell the complete game at a reasonable price to begin with.

Wouldn't be the greatest loss. We have thousands of games to chose from already. How many more do we truly need?

A lot of us use this strategy but it works out in a logical and practical way.

I've always been one generation behind everyone in consoles but logically and practically it has been that way only because I don't earn enough to get new stuff upon release.

But there are many people who get the new stuff upon release because, logically and practically, they earn enough to afford to be able to do so.

Years after the industry still benefits from all those many petty little sales that they still acrue long after the game's Lime Light.

I was going to bed just before I saw the deal yesterday so I forgot about posting it
I guess it turns out it was for US only anyway

I don't think this has been posted yet. Not sure how many people will care enough to buy these games instead of from gog .

Can be redeemed on Origin. This way you can also circumvent the german censorship.
For those who haven't yet checked out Amazon's pre-Black Friday sales list, the link is here.

Countdown to Black Friday Deals in Game Downloads: Over 150 games at least 50% off, 300+ casual games for $1.99
Count down to Black Friday with savings of at least 50% on over 150 games, plus over 300 casual games for $1.99. Additionally, buy any game below and earn $5 to use on our best selling games of 2011 between January 1, 2012 and January 31, 2012.

I like this one: Airline Tycoon Deluxe
Good fun for $2 if you want to play a MadTV clone based on an airline instead of a TV station.
